In town for a show at The Ellis, staying in Meridian. We wanted a nice dinner before the show & found The Rustler online. We were able to make an early reservation to make the show. GPS took us right to the parking lot with no issues. Now, I gotta say, the initial "curb appeal" was not what I expected. But don't let that deter you. Once inside, we found a dining room & bar side. We opted for the bar side. Tables had black linen tables clothes & candles and gave a 1970's vibe. We ordered martinis & bacon wrapped scallops to start. The drinks were fabulous & just as ordered. The scallops arrived quickly & were very good. Our entrees were the filet & prime rib. Both were cooked exactly as requested. The prime rib came with horseradish sauce & au jus. We both had more food than we could eat & enjoyed a midnight snack back at the hotel. Chloe took great care of us & made sure we had everything needed in our leftover bag. When we left, the parking lot was full & cars across the street. Looks like a popular spot & we will definitely return when in the area.

Ordered a 8oz fillet cooked rare perfectly! Had mushrooms on the side they were great! The only thing was off was the broccoli was over cooked and mushy. Otherwise it’s my go to spot when I visit Meridian.

I liked the place. Nice clean friendly atmosphere. The fried crab claws were my favorite. Real meaty and excellent taste. I ordered the ribeye with the crab and mushrooms on top. I told them medium well with less pink as possible. It came medium rare. I heard another guest say he got one last time that wasn't cooked enough so I guess I should've got it well done. The baked potato and asparagus we great also. I also ordered an margarita. In all my ticket was $126. I've never spent that much at an steak house for 2 people. If I go back I'll just order a pound of crabclaws and a drink.
The Rustler is a great restaurant the food was really good the atmosphere classy but the staff was amazing top notch something you don't see these days. Jack our waiter professional, very polite took very good care of us. This is not a cheap restaurant but well worth it. This is a great date night restaurant we hope to be back very soon.

What a wonderful little hidden gym in Meridian Mississippi the best food in the city by far wonderful people working there. They have everything you need for a great night of dinner.
Great food and great service! There are very few places where I can’t make a happy plate, but this is one of them. If you leave there hungry, it’s your own fault!

What an amazing gem. Awesome service, drinks and food. Make sure you try the crab dip and crawfish. Prime rib was to die for. Our server Sims what so sweet. Don’t miss out. This is a must try spot.
