“This was my first visit here and all the word of mouth was true. The food and portions were fantastic and delicious. The atmosphere is very laid back and easygoing.They DO NOT accept debit/credit cards. Only cash or checks. The employees and owner make you feel like family.There will be a return visit.Please read the signage for days and operation hours.“

“Great food and service! We came from Illinois otw to the gulf shores in Alabama and stopped here for lunch. I haven’t ever had a sea food boil before, but I’m glad my first was here! There was a bit of a wait at the beginning when we were sat, but it was totally worth it. Hush puppies were super good, too.“

“This was the best food I’ve had since I got to Mississippi. Awesome decor and the service was spot on. Johnny Cash and several other greats have autographed pictures on the walls. I highly recommend this experience for all who enjoy awesome home cooked meal.“

“Recently back to Meridian after being gone over 20 years and had a wonderful memory reminded. The Rustler was better than it was when I lived here previously. The service was wonderful! Semes, our hostess, was beyond comparison. She was friendly, genuine, and suggested the perfect meal for me. The waiter was also helpful, courteous, and attentive. The filet was mouthwatering and cooked to my rare temperature preference. The other components of the meal were equally as good. I suggest the Wine and Cheese dressing and the sautéed mushrooms were really delicious. My friends also enjoyed their meals and their first time at the Rustler. We'll be back again! Thank You!“
