Also tried the gumbo! it was one of the best I've ever had- very friendly staff. the chef is from New Orleans and he is legit. We are also from Louisiana and I know good food!Will definitely be back”

“Yesterday we had a family party of 8 spending the day in Natchez. We had lunch at your establishment. My husband and I have been several times but wanted our family to experience your place. We were seated in the room with the oyster bar all the way to the right by the wall. Our server was a young black woman who was phenomenal and definitely took her job seriously. I don’t remember her name but maybe talk can figure out who she is. Our family members were so pleased with the food tastes and portions plus the service. We are all from Louisiana with one couple from Texas. Again thank you for a wonderful lunch and a great atmosphere!!!”

“Last night was our second trip to PSP. It was absolutely delicious! I had the chicken parm, my husband had the chicken Alfredo. My family had the shrimp and scallop risotto, lasagna and flatbread. Serval of us finished our whole meal and others couldn’t finish because the portions are huge! We enjoyed the atmosphere as well! We had two young children with us so they set us in the back corner and it was perfect!”

“3 Stars…. This was my first time here as I was passing thru town. It started with my arms kept sticking to the table. The table just has a sticky film on it. So I asked the waitress what would she recommend and why are they famous. Her response was. I’ll give you a few more minutes to Look at the menu. I ordered the French dip n fries. “Truly a Godsend!! We had nearly an entire day at the dental office next door, got here before daybreak. When my sugar started getting low, I noticed on the tv screen in the dental office we could order PJ’s and they would walk over. I ordered a blueberry muffin and SF White Chocolate Mocha . It got to me at record speed, piping hot and fresh. Since we were unable to Leave to eat , this was so much appreciated and extremely great customer service. Thanks for not just “going through the motions” but to actually care about your customers. Highly recommend this place”

“Our grandkids favorite place to eat. Our waitress 37 Katya N was great! Enjoyed Queso dip and salsa while waiting on order. When served I didn’t receive my order of Jamaican Beans. Assured it would be coming soon with a n apology. Food came later and was delicious. Chicken was moist and tender.When handed the bill my husband eas assured the 4% Credit Card fee would not be charged since I paid with cash and would be removed at register. I took her word and did not check receipt. My dissapointed as we traveled out of town the Credit Card charge was on our receipt! I don’t know how many times this has happened but the person at the register needs to know it should not go on receipt if paying.”

“First things first — we love Fat Mama’s. I mean it. We could eat there every single day and be perfectly happy with the taste of the foods on the menu. The food is always flavorful, the new menu additions are phenomenal, and the staff is consistently kind, helpful, and quick to fix any hiccups. We’re huge fans over here — big hearts and even bigger appetites! That said… can we talk meat portions for a second? We ordered carne asada tacos and a pulled pork southwestern potato — one of our new go-to meals. One of my tacos had literally one tiny piece of meat in it. And the pulled pork? Maybe two forkfuls. Total. That’s a problem when you’re feeding carnivores who basically live for protein. Now hear me out — I totally understand that the price of goods has gone up. People want quality but don’t always want to pay what it costs. I get that better than most, trust me. And I don’t mind paying extra. I really don’t. What I do mind is not being told ahead of time. If portions are going to be light — especially on the meat — just tell me! I’ll gladly order extra. I’m not complaining about the cost; I’m asking for transparency so I can plan accordingly. A simple heads-up like, “Hey, this taco only comes with a small amount of meat,” or “The pulled pork is more of a topping than a full serving,” would go a long way. Again — I love y’all. The food is delicious, and the experience is usually great.
