We just found The Catfish Hut on Enid Lake and stopped in tonight 20 minutes before closing time. We were greeted and told there was no problem with the time that we could eat in. My husband had the fried fish, which was delicious, with onion rings. Those were the best onion rings I’ve ever had. We were told they are homemade. I had the mushroom Swiss burger and it was delicious also. We will definitely be going back.
Family friendly, fresh catfish hot from the stove, and a good salad bar.
Great little place to grab a quick meal.
Food was good but they were out of nearly everything!
I have been eating at this restaurant since I was 12 years old. It hasn’t changed much in appearance but food and atmosphere is relaxed and extremely casual. Feels like you are eating with family! Good food and good people.
Stumbled across this restaurant while visiting the Oakland area for the week for work. The atmosphere was exactly what you'd expect for a southern small town, it was cozy, inviting, and the staff was extremely friendly. It was my first time here and I got the Philly cheesesteak with fries and it was delicious. Also, the prices are amazing, it's nice to be able to get good food and not have to go broke doing it.
The floor is sticky and the tables are dirty. Cleanliness is obviously not a priority in this establishment. Who knows how the kitchen looks if the rest is this gross looking.
Good service

So we finally found this place, it's not on a normal road.... kinda of the road but you gotta be looking for it. Great catfish. Only complaints was the place wasn't very clean. Ice cream scoop was sitting out and flying insects around. I still ate the ice cream though. Good vegis and wanted to try the Crawfish but didn't want to deal with pealing them and we were coming back from NOLA so we had enough there. LOL. Overall good diner. They just need to clean it up a bit. We'll go back.

We only got ice cream on our visit. But it looked like a good Catfish Dinner spot. They also had an old-fashioned Sald Bar. You don't see them much anymore.
