Good food and a funky little place with a gigantic menu. Great little salad bar. Was disappointed to see them turning customers away though.

Second time here. Just as amazing as the first time months ago. My catfish was piping hot and crispy delicious. Side of fries and salad bar were all great too. They have an A health rating and i saw maybe two flies in the whole restaurant. The place is definitely a hole in the wall, but it is a great gem. I look forward to my third visit sometime in the future.

Took a minute to be seated. As for honey mustard and never received it. Waitress took a long time.

Good fried catfish and hamburger steak. They also have bluebell ice cream. The atmosphere is not much.

I thought we were about to experience a quintessential Mississippi hole-in-the-wall restaurant gem, but it was a terrible disappointment. After we sat at our table, it took them 15 minutes before someone checked on us to take our order. It took an HOUR to get our food after ordering what they are known for (fried catfish). This isn’t fancy food we are discussing here! Then the food was of such poor quality and cold that it made us regret we hadn’t walked out before our meal arrived. The atmosphere was filthy, and flies were everywhere. I highly recommend shutting down this place so no one ever eats here and gets sick.

We just found The Catfish Hut on Enid Lake and stopped in tonight 20 minutes before closing time. We were greeted and told there was no problem with the time that we could eat in. My husband had the fried fish, which was delicious, with onion rings. Those were the best onion rings I’ve ever had. We were told they are homemade. I had the mushroom Swiss burger and it was delicious also. We will definitely be going back.

Family friendly, fresh catfish hot from the stove, and a good salad bar.

Food was good but they were out of nearly everything!

I have been eating at this restaurant since I was 12 years old. It hasn’t changed much in appearance but food and atmosphere is relaxed and extremely casual. Feels like you are eating with family! Good food and good people.

Stumbled across this restaurant while visiting the Oakland area for the week for work. The atmosphere was exactly what you'd expect for a southern small town, it was cozy, inviting, and the staff was extremely friendly. It was my first time here and I got the Philly cheesesteak with fries and it was delicious. Also, the prices are amazing, it's nice to be able to get good food and not have to go broke doing it.
