Urban Japanese Fusion - Olive Branch

My family & I visited for the very first time on 06/15/25 for Father’s Day. The experience started off bad from the very beginning. First, it took 20 minutes after being seated to even place our drink order. Then, my mother ordered wings as her appetizer to which we were told would take 25 minutes and an hour later when we finally got our food order, the wings were still marinating and had not even began to be cooked yet so, the server asked if she wanted to cancel them to which my mom replied, “yes”. I, being a patient who takes a medication that curbs my appetite a great deal, asked if I could order off of the kids menu. (Because, I am not able to eat a full meal and wouldn’t have even finished a complete kids portion.) Our server told me no, that she wasn’t even supposed to allow my 10 year old step daughter to order off of the kids menu (she appears older than 10.. they should NEVER assume a child’s ago and make that child feel some type of way!) Once we finally received all of our food, EVERY SINGLE THING was dry! And flavorless! The only thing I ate was my clear soup! A complete waste of $90 in my opinion! I could have went to our local Chinese buffet and eaten better, for half of the price! Ohh and we drove from 1 hour 6 minutes away to eat here because it came recommended! Now, those who recommended it will also never return. Also, we expressed our concern and thoughts to which we were told by our server, “I don’t like this food anyway, I don’t eat here.” 🤦🏻‍♀️

The Tom Yum soup (shrimp version) was really good - great spice level and the broth was very flavorful. I didn't care for the texture of the rice-less sushi roll but the regular sushi was very tasty.

I’ve had sushi a lot of places across the country and I will not eat sushi at this place again. I couldn’t even finish the sashimi that I got because it tasted off. I definitely won’t be returning for sushi unfortunately.

I got food poisoning here from my birthday dinner. I ate the same thing as my sister but she had double rice and i got the vegetables in my hibachi. throwing up all night. the coke tasted weird, asked for sprite - still tasted weird. the clear soup even tasted off. I really used to like coming here, especially the lunch deals but now I am very turned off.

I have been here a hand full of times. The food is always good, the hibachi is solid and the sushi always tastes pretty fresh. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Saki options are pretty good. This is typically one of my go to spots if I want some sushi and saki, if you're hungry I would check it out! Staff are great, typically no wait but they can get busy.
