As the parents of an Ole Miss grad, I can safely say that Funky’s has always been our favorite spot for dinner, drinks, and the ultimate party experience in Oxford. We never miss a visit to Funky’s whenever we’re in town. Best pizza and daiquiris in town!
THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!!!!
My dad and his friend walked in to get a pizza this past weekend because they heard it was the best one in town (we live in FLORIDA and was in town for a wedding). They walked in right as they opened and were seated. They sat a moment waiting to order their drinks and then was asked to please leave because my dad had on a Sleeveless Tank Top Shirt. Everything was great about this bar from all the times I have been before but being told to turn your hat around in a bar after we had been in there for over 30 mins and had finished our food and drinks during a slow day due to “owner rules” is idiotic to me. I understand if it’s the “bar’s dress code” to not be able to have a hat on backwards but that should have been displayed or told when someone walks in immediately.
