I was a visiting guest artist at the university and was taken to this lovely restaurant. What a lovely experience. The staff were amazing and super nice. The food was top notch. I travel the world and for sure this place made some of the best plates.
Food excellent Filet and sides were served perfectly, as ordered. Service attentive and very gracious. Great atmosphere and the ideal place for special occasions! Bread pudding was luscious!
First time back to McEwen's in a while. Never had a bad meal there. Food was very good, not "over presented", and served promptly. We ate in the bar. The restaurant was moderately busy and quiet. Wait staff was very competent, though possibly a bit undermanned. No real complaints. Solid choice for an Oxford dining experience. Highly recommend.
