Came at about 11:30 for lunch. The images and menu on Google looked great and I liked the way it appeared to be an old bar. Just my flavor.
When I walked in though, I was standing in some shabby-chic deli-style room with hobby lobby retro metal chairs and tables. WHOA.
I thought...
I got catfished.
And this time it wasn't by a man.
I could only see one staff member. There was a waitress taking the orders for a table of 5 and I stood in the doorway. There wasn't...read full review
My wife and I stopped for lunch today! We absolutely loved the vibe, the food and the owner was so friendly! My sandwich was delicious and very filling! My wife had a salad and she had so much leftover due to the generous portion! Would recommend and we can’t wait to be back!!
My wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining here, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and made sure we felt taken care of throughout our visit.

Based on guest reviews, Scranton's | Restaurant & Catering is a small restaurant in an old firehouse with a unique layout. The images and menu on Google make it appear to be an old bar, but the front entrance is a shabby-chic deli-style room with hobby lobby retro metal chairs and tables. The actual dining area is through a threshold, where guests can sit at the bar. The food is good, and the people are nice. The black & green po-boy is the best ever, served with a great homemade ramoulade sauce and great blackened shrimp. The firehouse sandwich with sweet potato fries is the best sandwich PERIOD, so juicy and amazing with fried jalapeños. The sweet potato fries were cooked perfectly. The shrimp and grits are excellent, and the firehouse nachos are highly recommended for a table app. The fish special was fantastic. The club or strawberry shortcake dessert are not recommended. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and seasonal specials. The owner is very friendly. Portions are generous, like the salad with so much leftover. This is a smaller and locally owned establishment, a great place to start for a meal.
