To my surprise, a new place opened a mile down the street behind the shop. The staff are SOOO nice!! I’ve made friends with the girls already. But more importantly, the food is addictive!! The space is tastefully decorated, with walls lined in framed book posters that give it a unique, artistic charm. It’s clearly a place that values both community and creativity. My drink was delicious, and the service was warm and attentive. While I didn’t stay for lunch, the menu looked fantastic—plenty of tempting options I’ll be back to try. The shelves are stocked with a great selection of books for all ages, including a sweet children’s section. Whether you’re meeting up with friends, getting some work done, or just enjoying a peaceful moment alone, this locally owned and operated café has something for everyone. I saw people of all ages relaxing, reading, and connecting. Highly recommend stopping by—Cat Island Coffee is the kind of place you’ll want to return to again and again.”

“Best burgers and fish tacos on the Gulf Coast!!! The hotdogs and lemonade are terrific too. And the Atmosphere is out of this world with lawn games, the Gulf and the most amazing sunsets to add to your dining experience! Don't let the tiny building fool you. “Very intimate little bar that makes some of the best old fashions around. The bartenders are excellent, and the atmosphere is very charming. They have live music pretty often, so check out their Facebook for announcements. We usually head here with friends after dinner to keep the night going a little longer.”

“Visited Uncle Joe's Pizza and Wings in Long Beach today and had an excellent experience. Sat at the bar and the bartender was exceptional and very attentive. The pizza was delicious. On top of the food, our server, Rita, was fantastic. She was so attentive. All of our drinks, appetizers, and entrees came out in a timely manner! We will be back for sure!”

“We went for our 22nd anniversary and this small restaurant, on a quiet Saturday late afternoon, was perfect. We had great service. The food was creative and delicious. It started with delicious focaccia bread and ended with goat cheese cheesecake with pomegranate and pear. We will definitely make the drive again.”
