“Had a great experience, haven't been in a long time. It was fast, very polite and, it was all hot,great portion, the fries were fresh and very good. I got the Philly Steak sandwich, it was wonderfully made and I was impressed. Tea. Good as always. If I had to grade them I would give them an A+. I will be back. A little out of the way but worth it.“

“Today was the 1st time I’ve been to The Manship. We sat outside as the day was overcast and comfortable temps. The atmosphere is laid back southern elegance. Lunch menu choices made it difficult to choose. We started with the seasonal cocktail, a very Manship twist on a French 75 served frozen in a coupe and garnished with a violet. This is one I hope they make a permanent part of their menu. Perfect balance of sweet/sour and delightful on the palate. Next we shared smoked tuna dip served with what I think were fried tortillas seasoned with chili lime and saltine crackers. It rivals the best smoked tuna dip I’ve ever had from along the Atlantic. For entrees we chose small plates: Manship Woodfired Oysters served with focaccia and a special of Bbq pork belly served with Brussel Sprout slaw. I am not fond of brussel sprouts & surprisingly I loved the slaw. The oysters were beautifully served in a dish that kept them warm and not overcooked. The thick slices of bread were perfect for dipping in the butter sauce used in cooking the oysters. The pork belly was so good. Just the right amount of rub and sauce cooked to tender, melt in your mouth perfection. Our server was a total pro. I feel so bad because I didn’t write down her name. My daughter who was with me once worked as a server at a restaurant much like Manship. She was very impressed because our dishes arrived in perfect order and timing. She was knowledgeable about every item on the menu. Do yourself a favor and go eat at this wonderful establishment! We will come back!“

“Truly exceptional service—absolutely above and beyond! I came in and ordered a burger and fries, and being a bit of a picky eater, I had some specific requests. They were incredibly accommodating without hesitation. I asked if bacon could be added to my burger, even though I didn’t see it on the menu. Without missing a beat, the woman helping me said it wouldn’t be a problem at all. The food took a little time, but I wasn’t in a rush—and with burgers that big and fresh, I expected they’d take a bit longer to prepare. She brought out my fiancé’s meal first and kindly apologized for the delay, explaining that she was waiting on someone to return… with the bacon. That’s when I realized—they had literally sent a worker out to buy bacon just for my order. Talk about going the extra mile! This level of dedication and care is rare. Amazing food, even better service. I’ll absolutely be back!“

“We order the shrimp n catfish pasta, the tougaloo pasta and the fried lobster tail. Everything was good but the lobster tail isnt worth $18.00 for size of it n it didn't come with anything else. Y'all need to fix that. My daughter has austism n that's the only thing she eats from there. I'm not going lie the food was very good n fresh n the owner is very nice n honest.. Do I recommend y'all to go yass. By the way this the one on North State Street.“

“I ordered some large mozzarella sticks that were off the menu and they were really good. Each one was longer than my hand, super filling, great with ranch and marinara. Also got the smother chicken which was great. They were out of corn but I swapped it out for squash and it was great.“

“To be fair, I've only had one dish here but it keeps me coming back! The red beans and rice is the best in the whole metro area. I'm not even a big red beans n rice fan, but that's how good this dish is. The staff are very friendly and personable. Food comes out hot and fast. Really unique mardi-gras-style atmosphere. “I go to Bumpers often for two grilled chicken salads, a double cheeseburger, and a kid's meal. Today for the very first time we had two salads with no chicken. I was so disappointed until the manager agreed to replace the salads! She was very courteous, professional, and a all around good person. ?“

“Stopped in at Ole Tavern on George Street after a long day on the road and it hit the spot real nice. Food come out hot, portions good sized, and everything had decent flavor, not just salt and grease. Folks workin there were friendly, kept my drink topped off, and the place had that relaxed feel where you can sit a bit and unwind. For the money I paid I walked out full and satisfied, I would sure stop back in again.“

“Was out last Friday evening around 10:15 and was sure to be out of luck when hunting for somewhere to eat. It was looking like Whatabeen tired of eating or Waffle Bell... But happened to do a quick search anyway and Right on Time there it was like a Light House in a storm...Capitol Grill...kitchen open surprisingly late. I gotta say that the food was absolutely delicious! Even to be later in the evening, everything we ordered was fresh and very well prepared. We weren't rushed at all like some places will do when you come in off peak hours for the kitchen. We received Wonderful A+ service from our waitress who gave good recommendations for dinner when we requested them and had fun shooting a couple games of pool afterwards. Overall Great Experience! “Went on Monday night around 5pm. Friendly staff welcomed us & took our order. FYI - All drinks including water are $2 ea (free refills)& sauces are extra- ranch, honey mustard, etc. but they are a decent size. We both got Combo #12- burger, wings & fries for $12.99 ea. Food was fresh & hot served in to go clamshell but we stayed and ate at the restaurant. There were TVs with sports playing. We would try it again.“
