“When they're not super super busy and they are at lunch time the food is always great the service is relatively fast and the prices are lower than other fast food restaurants in the area. The country fried steak combo is awesome exclamation point but I would suggest you have pepper packets because the steak sandwich is so much better with black pepper on it. I'm not sure why you stopped having that but my suggestion please have them“

“Made advanced reservations to celebrate our anniversary supper here. They honored my request for a booth (even though they let you know up front at reservation booths are not guaranteed).

Our gentleman server was top-notch all the way through. He took the time to explain their daily specials and was conscientious to ask if we had nut allergy when we ordered the brownie. He made sure we had what we needed and checked on us often.

We had portabello fries, salads, redfish Anna, and the brownie. All hot straight from the kitchen. The entire meal was Delicious!!

Parking: Leave earlier than usual, especially if you have reservations, in case you have to park elsewhere and walk to Walker’s, since their parking lot fills up quickly at peak hours.“

“Today was the 1st time I’ve been to The Manship. We sat outside as the day was overcast and comfortable temps. The atmosphere is laid back southern elegance. Lunch menu choices made it difficult to choose. We started with the seasonal cocktail, a very Manship twist on a French 75 served frozen in a coupe and garnished with a violet. This is one I hope they make a permanent part of their menu. Perfect balance of sweet/sour and delightful on the palate. Next we shared smoked tuna dip served with what I think were fried tortillas seasoned with chili lime and saltine crackers. It rivals the best smoked tuna dip I’ve ever had from along the Atlantic. For entrees we chose small plates: Manship Woodfired Oysters served with focaccia and a special of Bbq pork belly served with Brussel Sprout slaw. I am not fond of brussel sprouts & surprisingly I loved the slaw. The oysters were beautifully served in a dish that kept them warm and not overcooked. The thick slices of bread were perfect for dipping in the butter sauce used in cooking the oysters. The pork belly was so good. Just the right amount of rub and sauce cooked to tender, melt in your mouth perfection. Our server was a total pro. I feel so bad because I didn’t write down her name. My daughter who was with me once worked as a server at a restaurant much like Manship. She was very impressed because our dishes arrived in perfect order and timing. She was knowledgeable about every item on the menu. Do yourself a favor and go eat at this wonderful establishment! We will come back!“

“We went to Lou's Full-Serv last night to celebrate our anniversary. It wasn’t our first time but it was our first time to get the filet and holy hell was it good. We ordered the steak and fries and got the filet for our cut. Cooked perfectly medium rare with nothing but a little salt, pepper and char grill to give it flavor. It was hands down the best steak I’ve ever eaten and sooo worth the price. You also get a mound of the most delicious hand cut fries which I couldn’t finish but took them home because they’re that good. Got the s’mores cheesecake for dessert which we split. It wasn’t the s’mores cheesecake I remember from the old restaurant but it was still delicious. Then of course an order of bread pudding that I brought home for breakfast because I can’t go to Lou’s without getting the bread pudding. I didn’t get a picture of the steak and wish I did so you could all see its gloriousness.“

“My wife and I and another couple wanted to try something different for dinner and we went to Scrooge’s for the first time. Wow! A very unique experience with the variety and quality of the food. You should go!“

“This place was great! The food is locally sourced and fresh, and was delicious.
The owner shared knowledge about the history of the building, and there’s an outside patio that is fun for kids. The chicken fingers were the best we’ve had in a long time! Also recommend the Brussels sprouts and the rice with mushroom gravy. And the fries are awesome too. Really all the food was amazing. Highly recommend!“

“Was out last Friday evening around 10:15 and was sure to be out of luck when hunting for somewhere to eat. It was looking like Whatabeen tired of eating or Waffle Bell... But happened to do a quick search anyway and Right on Time there it was like a Light House in a storm...Capitol Grill...kitchen open surprisingly late. I gotta say that the food was absolutely delicious! Even to be later in the evening, everything we ordered was fresh and very well prepared. We weren't rushed at all like some places will do when you come in off peak hours for the kitchen. We received Wonderful A+ service from our waitress who gave good recommendations for dinner when we requested them and had fun shooting a couple games of pool afterwards. Overall Great Experience! “First time at Ish was a nice experience. The crowd is more mature. Showed up spontaneously on a Friday. There was a $15 charge at the door. There was a live performance can’t remember the singers name but will leave a photo, she did good tho and the band played well. Ordered a Patron margarita while sitting at the bar and the bartender made it kinda stout definitely felt them later lol. There was a nice patio area to stretch out or take a smoke if needed. Will be back though. Had a nice experience. Thanks“

“To be fair, I've only had one dish here but it keeps me coming back! The red beans and rice is the best in the whole metro area. I'm not even a big red beans n rice fan, but that's how good this dish is. The staff are very friendly and personable. Food comes out hot and fast. Really unique mardi-gras-style atmosphere. Give it a try, you'll be glad you did.“

“Sarah, my server, absolutely amazing. I ordered the turnip green bites as an appetizer. It should have been my main dish. OMGoodness, they are delicious.
On the other side of things, my salmon was a bit overcooked. I'll take the blame since I didn't request medium.

“I go to Bumpers often for two grilled chicken salads, a double cheeseburger, and a kid's meal. Today for the very first time we had two salads with no chicken. “3.5 stars. The jalapeno poppers were cooked fresh and tasted good (not very special, but good), but only six for $4.25 and they came with ketchup, not ranch. The $0.75 "transaction fee" tacked on just before paying and not disclosed otherwise was lame. Would have rounded down instead of up, but they didn't hassle me when I used the restroom before ordering, and the location is convenient to the Electrify America station.“
