Was passing through and Google led me here. Good solid food options, very friendly waitress, nice atmosphere. Just a cozy neighborhood kind of place, well priced comfort food. Excellent cole slaw, tasty catfish...just what I was on the lookout for.
Food was delicious. We had fried shrimp, peel and eat shrimp, fish catfish bites, 3 large, very good hushpuppies, coleslaw and 2 drinks. Each platter special was $14.99. Good friendly service.Parking: No complaintsKid-friendliness: No restrictions. Family friendly.Very casual, laid back place.

At what appears to be a small unassuming local dinner, locals & travelers are welcomed with a smile and hometown charm. Wonderful homemade coleslaw comes out to the table while you wait for your meal. Fried green tomatoes were a special appetizer and they were fried to perfection. The hamburger was large! I could not finish the whole thing! My husband and son ordered the fried catfish plate. The fish was clean and flaky. Hush puppies were delicious, too. I would absolutely recommend...read full review
