“last day in town and i thought i needed to treat myself. Was craving sea food and this place poped up close to my stay.. the moment i walked in i was greeted with a happy Friendly smile by the host. Seated quickly.. greeted by all the staff as i walked to my table with the host..the general manager was cleaning a table helping his crew and spoke to me in a welcoming greeting manor! With in 3min of being in the building everyone had turned my bad day grumpy mood upside down! The food is amazing fast fresh delivery to the table! Amazing atmosphere! “It's a bit chaotic especially when no one assists you upon entering. After I seated myself, the staff finally acknowleged me. After I placed my to go order at the register, I returned to the same counter seat that I sat in previously only to be later told that I need to sit in the waiting area. I have no problem with sitting in the chairs by the window; however, the waitress could have immediately told me that after taking my order.“

“To be fair, I've only had one dish here but it keeps me coming back! The red beans and rice is the best in the whole metro area. I'm not even a big red beans n rice fan, but that's how good this dish is. The staff are very friendly and personable. Food comes out hot and fast. Really unique mardi-gras-style atmosphere. Give it a try, you'll be glad you did.“

“The food is always great. But the catfish is over priced. They take a catfish filet and cut it in 3 or 4 pieces and sever it as a large catfish. I been in other states where the cost of living is much higher than Ms, I be getting 3 whole filets for the price Penn's charge!“
