“Arrived at 12, at 12:15 they took our order for two lunch specials. 12:45 we asked how much longer it would be. After checking, "Unfortunately, I don't know what happened to your ticket & she's cleared away everything for the lunch special." We reordered & at 1:15 we had lunch. I ordered the patty melt & asked if it had sautéed onions..."yes." The onions were chopped (see photo,) barely cooked & crunchy. This was my second time to visit Sam's. I'm hoping this is not the norm!”

“I think this might have been the only restaurant open when we rolled into this little town. Food was typical Subway. The girl who made our food was wonderful. Very personal and funny. Glad she was out sandwich maker.”

“I came over here on Tuesday and liked it so much I came back to work in Laurel again today just so I could eat here again.

The pulled pork sandwich has great smokey flavor and the barbecue sauce is just enough to keep it moist without taking away from the taste. French fries and corn nuggets were good, but mid.. The fried okra was among some of the best I've had.

Great place to eat. And everyone knows it because I had to wait in line for 20 minutes just to order. Well worth it.”

“First place me and my husband came to when we drove into town, literally off the highway to here. Immediately became our favorite spot! Best Po Boys in town, Gumbo to warm your soul, fries are to die for and much more. “We came here for a quick bite to eat after getting into town. The burgers were amazing tasty! Just like you would expect in a drive in diner. Would recommend highly Just felt rushed by one of the employees at the window where you order. It seemed every 20 seconds he was slamming the window open and we would keep having to tell him no we were not ready and then finally the last slam open. I said “honey can please calm down and give us some time! My husband said we will knock when we are ready. He was a little rude”

“I don't want to not recommend this place but today was just awful. There were two tables of people there today including us so no crowd at all. We ordered 2 grilled cheese sandwiches one wrap and 3 waters. I don't know what the deal was but it took 45 minutes to receive our order. I finally walked up to check and they were just getting around to it. my son said the kid at the counter had no business dealing with customers. It was unacceptable we should have left but we had already paid and the kids were hungry. We wanted coffee but figured it was a lost cause. Thought you should know”
