“Arrived at 12, at 12:15 they took our order for two lunch specials. 12:45 we asked how much longer it would be. After checking, "Unfortunately, I don't know what happened to your ticket & she's cleared away everything for the lunch special." We reordered & at 1:15 we had lunch. I ordered the patty melt & asked if it had sautéed onions..."yes." The onions were chopped (see photo,) barely cooked & crunchy. This was my second time to visit Sam's. I'm hoping this is not the norm!”

“I think this might have been the only restaurant open when we rolled into this little town. Food was typical Subway. The girl who made our food was wonderful. Very personal and funny. Glad she was out sandwich maker.”

“Hog Heaven recently catered my rehearsal dinner and wedding and the food was so amazing! People are still talking about how delicious the food was! I would highly recommend anyone with an event to look into getting Hog Heaven to provide the food! The quality of the food is the best and the pricing is super affordable. And we can’t thank the staff enough for being so kind and flexible when we got rained out and had to change our plans due to weather at the last minute.”

“A California girl who lives in the south always in search for authentic Mexican food. It’s rare to actually find one, and it’s here in Laurel, Ms. We were traveling from Tennessee to Nola, and figured we’d stop here for some lunch. It did not disappoint!!! It’s no different than the meals I would eat in Juarez when visiting and in my home town - also the service is unmatched and it’s close to the freeway. I would definitely be hitting this spot every weekend if it weren’t for the drive. Y’all get you some real Mexican food!”

Best Po Boys in town, Gumbo to warm your soul, fries are to die for and much more. Owner is the best and had my husbands order down by the third visit! lol It’s months later and this is still our go to spot since moving here 7 months ago!”

I ordered the 12oz ribeye with crab, shrimp and be Blanc sauce with brussel sprouts and a warm spinach salad. Wonderful. Finished with the bread pudding.. The staff and owners were very friendly and inviting. I can't wait to go back.”

“I don't want to not recommend this place but today was just awful. There were two tables of people there today including us so no crowd at all. We ordered 2 grilled cheese sandwiches one wrap and 3 waters. I don't know what the deal was but it took 45 minutes to receive our order. I finally walked up to check and they were just getting around to it. my son said the kid at the counter had no business dealing with customers. It was unacceptable we should have left but we had already paid and the kids were hungry. We wanted coffee but figured it was a lost cause. Thought you should know”

Eggplant sliced thin , stacked with cheeses and a good basil sauce. Hubby liked his entree, also . Had glaases of pino noir. Generous pours for $8.00. New server. Had a couple questions she couldn't answer but should have asked so she can know for other customers. She was very sweet.”
