Main Street Market Reviews
Friendly, good food. Great sweet tea
Found this wonderful restaurant while visiting the Old Courthouse Museum.
My pimento cheese chicken club sandwich was great. The service is friendly and efficient and the desserts are divine. I had the lemon chest pie.
A wonderful relaxing place to enjoy lunch. Highly recommend.

Passing through Vicksburg on our way to New Orleans and stopped for lunch. Good home cooking with Cajun influence. Lunch special changes daily but have gumbo daily. I had white beans and rice with sausage. Amazing. Great pies for dessert.!

Main Street Market is a quaint, old-home-turned-restaurant in Vicksburg that offers a diverse lunch menu with daily specials. Despite mixed reviews, the establishment boasts a solid 4.8-star rating, drawing in both locals and passing travelers.
The atmosphere is described as tidy, though the service can be hit-or-miss, with some servers appearing less enthusiastic than others. The food, while not spectacular, is generally considered better than fast food, with the gyro being the standout menu item. However, the much-lauded biscuits were a disappointment to one discerning customer.
The restaurant's owner, Sally, is praised for her homemade desserts and rotating lunch options, which cater to a loyal local following. Portion sizes are generous, and prices are reasonable, making Main Street Market a budget-friendly option for those passing through the area. Overall, the restaurant seems to offer a comfortable, if not entirely consistent, dining experience.
