Absolutely horrible!!! I will most definitely NOT be back. I decided to try something new so I went to Sleepy Bear. First impressions are everything! It was bad from the get go! I’d never been there before so I walked in and sat down. Nobody was at the front end. The cook looked out the window and never said a word. First timer here. Had the bang bang shrimp tacos and they are quite tasty! Also their dirty sodas are real good. I can see this being a normal for lunch for me working in Wiggins!

The menu features delicious options such as the Cajun Benedict, Gouda Grits, Cajun pasta with crawfish, shrimp & sausage, and the Sleepy Bear breakfast platter. The restaurant is clean, kid-friendly with a children’s menu, and wheelchair accessible. The vibe of the place is super cute, feeling like a cute little coffee shop in a small town. The food is incredible and delicious, with amazing biscuits. The gingerbread cookie iced latte was pretty good. The scrambled eggs were some of the best ever had from a restaurant. The strawberry stuffed French toast and Gouda grits were absolutely amazing. The biscuits and sausage gravy are the best ever had. The hash brown casserole was excellent. The bang bang shrimp tacos are quite tasty and their dirty sodas are real good. The boudin balls were very much delicatable. A great place to enjoy a meal and definitely worth revisiting.
