“After moving to Helena recently, I was looking for a craft brewery to be my new local pub. Speakeasy 41 more than exceeded my expectations for welcoming staff, friendly patrons, good music, comfortable atmosphere and nearby location. Thanks Speakeasy 41 for making us feel at home in Helena.“
“Music BINGO on Tuesday nights is the best. Shawna from SJS Music Bingo plays your favorite songs and you win free beers and prizes each round. You can reserve a table ahead of time or just show up and play. Beer slingers are right there to make sure you have a drink to toast each win!“
“Pizza at Ten Mile Creek Brewery is amazing. They just opened their new kitchen and they are crushing it with their pizza game! it is so so good!“

“When I was there I felt like I was Garfield and the entire place was a giant lasagna that’s how good literally everything there is.“
“Great place to have a fine local microbrew. Also, this is the least expensive of all the local breweries if you visit during the happy hour (noon till four PM I believe.)
Update: It's no longer as inexpensive as it was back in the day. Beer prices have risen quite a bit. On my last visit, I paid 4 to 5 dollars per beer during happy hour, not the highest price you might pay in Helena but a lot more than what it used to be before the pandemic.“
“It’s a fun venue with a wide variety of items. The pizza shop is connected once you are inside ao you don’t have to walk outside in the cold.
The flight is fun and a good way to try different brews. This would be a good place to take a big group out.“
“You guys have the best chicken strips, pickled onions, seltzer, and beer! Great place with great owners and workers!!!“

“Service: Excellent, unless your DISABLED Ambiance: Smallest ski lodge in world, no fire, or many places to sit, or stand. Food; what food?????? Beer: Some are delicious, some are okay, some are only half flavour. * I NEVER ONCE HAD A BAD CREAM ALE. THEY WERE ALWAYS TOPNOTCH. * * So today Dec 13th 2023 I was Locked out of a public Business until Bethany(mgr) opened the door, good thing there was no fire. I was told by Bethany to take down my review because their workers think of themselves like angles who can do no wrong and they have Never Ever in the slightest way Ever offended a disabled person? (besides myself I guess) I invited Bethany to go to lunch with me so she could experience real empathetic servers that help everyone and to witness how truly nice they are to EVERYONE, not just to their FREINDS, TIPPERS and good looking people W/$ Of COURSE she declined, no need to witness excellent service when GOOD is GOOD enough. Sorry Bethany, you are the one who is incorrect, I can not even began to list all of the wrongs done to me as a disabled individual at your business, nor do I want to relive them. WHAT STARTED Blackfootriver's HATRED TOWARD ME, YOU MAY ASK, "A CONVERSATION WITH A BARMAID" after about 3/4 - 1 year (of filling the Growler I used to have, ALSO this is THE ONLY WORKER THERE that said more than the required MEMORIZED, "can I get you a glass of beer" , as in she could and would talk to me, until a mgr would see her talking & then she would go quite. * THE CONVERSATION * ME "If you ever find that you have extra time on your hands AND you also want to add a friend, I volunteer. " BARMAID " That is the sweetest thing you could have ever said to me" Now she comes back from filling my growler and when she gets; back she grabs my money I have on the counter and disappear's into the crowd for the next 1 1/2 days....... she hides, behind workers, behind the bar, telling everyone I am the problem. Unless she has told everyone about taking my money & hiding away from me after stealing, then she is not telling Blackfoot the truth. And no, I did not get to give a tip to her like normal, it was grabbed off of the counter like some kind of ripoff. So, Bethany, in all honesty I can NOT retract my original review as it is based on 2 years of service, although I don't think Blackfootriver even KNEW I was a customer for the first year, year and half. Nope I am positive no one there ever even ONE TIME said hello to me for the first year. *Comments* to me over (2 years time) . -"Maybe you should go sit in the street" -"Why would we need that for the disabled" -"Don't mind me cutting in front" -"Let me finish with him first, you come in here all the time" -"I didn't think you wanted anything; you were sitting in your chair" -"Go Ahead, serve them, even tho I was at the bar first" Just How Many Times Does A (disabled) Customer have to feel worthless from comments and actions? * THIS IS AN OPINION BASED ON 2 YEARS OF * Original Posting : I was wondering why your business does not have any type of disabled ANYTHING. No chairs, no tables not even a small stool for anyone who does not have working legs, and forget about a table upstairs, THOSE are stairs, not an escalator! In fact the only thing I could find you do for the disabled or more like to the disabled is to clog up the sidewalk on Park Ave. During the summer, with a bunch of drunks who do not want to move out of the way of people In wheelchairs. And THANK YOU for the trash, broken glass and vomit all over the sidewalk come Monday Morning. Thank you so much for your disability support, (I mean REALLY, not even a chair) ; and OH WELL, for reccommending your business to any family or friends, this, coming from a 3rd generation Montanan in their later years, with hundreds of family & friends. Also your crew needs to learn how to talk to the disabled without making them f“
