I went there after a doc apt. alone mid afternoon. went and gambled and had an appetizer. I won like 330 bones. I went paid left tip was on the phone n left. pulled out of the parking lot instantly turned around knowing I left my wallet by keno machine. there was no one there at all in entire restaurant except myself. waitress and one of their. Overland Express Restaurant and Lounge offers a spacious parking lot, perfect for truckers, and a super chill atmosphere. Customers praise the great staff, clean dining room, and superb service, with Terry being awesome at the front and helping with food adjustments. The restaurant is known for its excellent chicken strips, delicious Mushroom Swiss burger, and the overland Ruben, which was amazing. Fried mushrooms were damn good. The bar food was average and overpriced, comparable to chain restaurants. When hot, the cheese sticks have an amazing cheese pull, and the 25 salt and pepper wings were big and delicious. Though some dishes lacked flavor, the overall dining experience is recommended for its good food and unique ambiance, with prices that can't be beat.
