Had a great experience at Bar and Ranch! The woman at the front desk, Rachelle, was so helpful planning our trip and with recommendations. Absolutely beautiful property - it was so nice drinking my coffee from the balcony and by the fire in the morning. S'mores were such a fun touch. Only complaint was the bathrooms in the room desperately need an update and weren't very clean.
The ranch is lovely, and the view is amazing. The common areas and rooms are attractive enough, and the beds are comfortable. However…when we checked in, we were told breakfast was included, when it was, and where it was. What we were not told is that they shut the restaurant down for the season part way through our stay. When we asked about it, they acted like we should know and were fairly rude about it. They do not give us bottled water upon check in. There is no elevator...
A nice alternative to the lower grade rooms in West Yellowstone near the same price point. QUIET - which was much appreciated. The restaurant is a nice alternative to the crowds and noise of West Yellowstone. Would go back.
