“We had an amazing time here. There were nine of us for dinner/drinks, and the service was fantastic. Each drink is beautiful, while also tasting good, and the food is delicious. Caesar, Abram, and the chefs allowed us to have a beautiful last night in Isla Mujeres.“

I went with the Marea Breakfast, egg/spinach sandwich with spicy mayo.)Gustavo was my waiter for all three days.Great guy and had the best recommendations for the island.Can't beat the sunrise view and the yoga classes at this spot.Then switch over to playa Norte for sunset.“

“Had delicious coconut french toast with chicken tacos, nice place. For breakfast brunch and lunch.

Can also sit upstairs with a bit of a view. Good and fast service.

“Solid local restaurant with good service and long hours on the Main Street on the west side of the island, with a big menu. It’s always a party, blasting music, probably to counteract the loud golf cart sounds that pervade everywhere. But there’s a large seating area and one can sit farther away from the speakers. The chicken enchiladas were tasty and came in a very generous serving. The prices were reasonable—average for the area, and if anything on the slightly lower end of prices. They have restrooms for customers.“

“The food was very delicious! The owner was very friendly and great to talk to. The best ceviche we've had in Mexico and the chicken and fish tacos were also well seasoned and the best we've had on our trip. Coca Cola was ice cold and the michelada was also great.

“We shared the cream spaghetti with shrimp.The portion was more than enough for 2 people. The sauce was wonderful, and the shrimp were cooked perfectly.They also give you chips and salsa while you're waiting. We will be back to try the coconut shrimp next time.The service was wonderful. The owner came over to talk to us, and several other employees did as well. It's such a wonderful family environment.“

“We tried hamburgers with potatoes, very good, the only point that I didn't like was the ketchup... It tasted diluted to me, they can improve that detail... But I congratulate them for the excellent service and information they gave us, they explained several things to us about the island, they got us a golf cart with the best price they had offered us.“

We took the entire family recently and everyone had a good time and really also enjoyed the food. The fried chicken sandwiches they ordered looked as good as they tasted, at least that’s what they said, wouldn’t know because they didn’t share. Place expands every time we’re there and we will be back.“

“We dined in for Javi’s chef’s table experience and it was phenomenal! The dishes were absolutely amazing. There was not a thing I did not find to be delectable! Javi not only explained his dishes he also shared stories and songs with us, along with his dad. Once again we had a memorable experience dining at Javi’s Cantina and Restaurant.“

“My family of 5 had the best time at Zama beach club. The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were cold, fast service, friendly staff and attentive waiters. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to have a wonderful time with friends, family or by yourself.“

The menu is a little unconventional in that they have a board that lists all the fresh seafood, priced by kgs. Being from the states we aren’t too familiar with that metric. “My wife and I have been to Isla Mujeres and Cancun many times over the past 35 years and have eaten some of what we consider the best food anywhere. That brings me to yesterday (Halloween) and this review. We ate at Amigos on Hidalgo and in my opinion I had the best fresh grouper filet I think I’ve ever eaten. My wife had the suiza enchiladas (chicken) and her comments were the same as mine. This is now my go to for fresh fish whenever we’re on the island. Thanks to Map Chicks for recommending this place. We’ve probably walked by this establishment a hundred times over the years and never stopped in which I now regret because we’ve been missing some excellent food and service.“

“Located at the north end of the strip on the west side of Isla Mujeres, Jabar has amazing food and service! Friendly staff, quick service and excellent eats at a very reasonable price! I had the Fish tacos and my wife had the Beef Burrito. We would definitely eat there again and have the same items. Highly recommend. Parking the golf cart around the corner was easy as well. Lots of parking down the side street. If you're looking for a not so crowded page that is clean, friendly, affordable with ample portions and you can still see the water, Jaxbar is the place for you!!“

“Great place for sports fans to hang out. Lots of TVs and a big screen to watch on. We were here last week watching the NFL playoffs and ordered Food and Drinks,Owner approached us and asked how everything was, we said it was good, next thing we know a brand new order of onion rings came to our table and the Owner explained the breading on the onion rings we're to his standards or expectations and gave us a new order and chatted with us for a few minutes. Wait staff was very friendly and on point. Overall a wonderful experience! Will definitely be back!“

“The food was good, however, way over priced in my opinion, there was only 5 pieces of chicken in the sweet and sour chicken dinner. But the vegetables seemed fresh and the flavor was excellent. The service was great, nothing over the top but it was good.
My one suggestion, the music was way too loud and wasn’t the genre of music to fit the atmosphere of the restaurant.“

“This a great place to come if you want to hang out at the beach. Carla was a great bar tender as well as the guy that attends the chairs and umbrellas. They charge $25 US or $400 pesos for chairs and umbrellas, but definitely worth it. Make sure to visit on your trip. Also the massages are worth it…ask for Barbie!“

“IXI beach is very well located on the north beach of Isla Mujeres. The environment is beautiful, clean and convenient for getting to the island.The place is in front of a very quiet beach where you spent a little more than 2 hours enjoying the sea.“

“AMAZING FOOD! we had some of the best Ceviche in Mexico here. (Caribbean Ceviche) and the pineapple and shrimp was mouth watering. Oh and the fish tacos were yummy as well. Definitely coming back here on my next trip!!

“We did not partake of the beach club itself, but had a lovely dinner on the beach.

Beautiful beachfront dining with an upscale menu which included plenty of options to satisfy all members of our party, including vegetarians.

The staff was beyond accommodating and offered for us to sit under the palapa in the bar area where it was cooler. We enjoyed cocktails until we took sunset pictures before our delicious family dinner.

The fire performance on the beach during dinner was a wonderful surprise which we all enjoyed!

“Cocktail bar relatively close to the center, the dishes are good, however they lack more seasoning and better attention from the staff, only 1 bathroom is not enough since it is also useful for changing clothes, prices between 300-500.
Pay attention when you receive the bill, they already include the tip.
Parking only for 10 vehicles but motorcycles are also available.“
