The young owners,(I am assuming they were owners) were standing outside when we approached their establishment. We were looking for a certain seafood restaurant. They informed us it did not open until 4:00 and proceeded to point out another restaurant within walking distance. Well, we were so impressed with their helpfulness, that we decided to skip the seafood and eat at THEIR café. We enjoyed delicious paninis, lemon meringue desserts and a luscious brownie, all for a very affordable price. They are not licensed, but we were able to go the establishment next door, La Chope (Brokerie?), buy our libations and enjoy both that and our meal outside. Great atmosphere, with a fabulous view of the wharf and the belle Baie de Chaleur. Stop here and enjoy an all around wonderful experience. We were given an Acadian and French welcome at its BEST!
