I’ve visited all the popular coffee shops downtown, but since Ma CAFE opened, there hasn’t been another place that compares in any aspect. In other cafés, you can often tell the staff dislike their job, but here the service is genuine, warm, and filled with passion.”

“Flavours of the cider are absolutely amazing. Try the hawai 5 0, tikihut, dave matthews, cranraz, and the sourblast. Pretty much a lot of unique flavours to choose from. Check their website for events as well. They do trivia on wednesdays and karoake on thursdays”

“What a great place... Every staff member welcomed us with a "good morning" and bid us good day when we left. The food was excellent and was prepared fresh for us... one order at a time! The coffee was freshly ground for every pot. What a great spot! The only regret is that it took me 13 years to come here! Not a great group place as there is only counter service but awesome for a few people in a group (1-5). It takes a bit longer to get your order than other restaurants BUT... it is fresh and hot because they only do on order (slip) at a time! Too bad there isn't an option for 10 ⭐ out of 5!”

“We had the pleasure of coming from NS to Trailway Brewing Co. on Saturday night (Sep. 21) to see Ella Campbell sing and play guitar. Besides her show stopping performance, Andrew the MC and greeter extraordinaire, made the night so unique and special with his personal attention to his guests and the performers. The Fetch beer was so good we brought a case home with us. Thanks for the great time!”

“This is my favourite cafe in town. I love being able to walk in somewhere and they know my order without asking, even if I haven’t been in for a while. The coffee is fantastic, the espresso very strong (and for a great price), and I love the quiet atmosphere, even when the place is packed.”

This spot is typically bustling thanks to its prime location and unbeatable atmosphere & drinks—whether you’re seated indoors or enjoying the patio. Our visit was nothing short of fantastic. The food and drinks were top-notch: I treated myself to their indulgent loaded fries, kid #1 enjoyed classic chicken fingers, kid #2 savored a burger and fries, and my wife opted for the flavorful chicken burger. Not a single complaint—every bite was devoured with enthusiasm! Picaroons consistently delivers on ambiance and quality. I’d love to see the space expand to accommodate more parking and seating while maintaining its current charm and location. It’s truly a gem!"”
