“This was my first time ordering from the restaurant. It was the best Chinese I have had in a long time. The curry chicken was very tender, lots of flavour and the veggies were very crisp. The deep fried wantons were delicious! I will definitely be ordering from here again while I am staying in town. There was no comment on the atmosphere as it is a take-out only.“

“This is a small place for takeout and with a few booths for eating in. It was very comfortable and cozy. Lots of combos to chose from and the prices are very good! The gentleman who took our orders was very courteous and attentive and went out of his way to make sure our food was perfect. The food was delicious and plentiful. Had the leftovers for supper! It is very much appreciated.I was really curious about this restaurant and decided to give it a try. I ordered Combo 2 on Skip, which included rice noodles with Cantonese sausage, a sticky rice dumpling, and crispy gyoza. Unfortunately, the quality of food I received didn’t live up to my expectations. The spice on the rice noodles wasn’t spread evenly throughout. This led to some overly spicy bites and some bites that didn’t have as much flavour. My biggest issue, however, was with the sticky rice dumpling I received. It was very beautifully wrapped and the first bite I had was delicious! Unfortunately, about halfway through, the rice became very hard and rubbery (almost like it dried out). I’ve never had a rice dumpling before, so I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be rubbery, or soft like the first bite I had. Based on the amount I spent and the quality of food I received, I can’t say I’d ever order from here again.“

“Bamboo East has always been a family favorite but never more than it is tonight. I have been so very very sick for a full week now, I have eaten nothing solid and I haven't gotten any housework done.I wanted to give my family something good and filling for supper and I was hoping to try to eat again for myself (the last warm thing I chewed and ate was seven days ago today) so I ordered two huge combos and I ordered for myself a wonton soup and a side pack of crab wonton.Let me say the soup is the most full delicious thing and I am almost in tears because the broth tastes so perfect. The bowl is so stuffed you literally could not fit another wonton into it if you try! And I have never eaten more rich and fat crab wonton in my life.I love you Bamboo East, there are no words in this moment for how happy you have made me.“

“We were on a road trip from Virginia in our Tesla. We were ready to eat while charging and this restaurant was in the same parking lot. We were happy for something different. Some comments on the food: the fried rice didn't have in vegetables or bits of vegetables nor any egg. It was like white rice browned with something like soy sauce. The chicken balls are round balls of chicken fried in tempura batter. Think chicken tenders in a ball. My chow mein was good with lots of vegetables.“
