“I can not say enough good things. I made reservations for myself and elopement guests to have dinner at another restaurant and we showed up after our ceremony to a closed sign and locked door. Turns out they changed their hours and didn’t care to notify me that they were canceling my reservation. This left me standing on the street upset, confused and honestly embarrassed! We walked over to seasons by the sea, who were extremely busy but didn’t bat an eye when we asked if they could seat us all. We had a short wait and they took us right in. What a blessing in disguise, the food was delicious, the staff had us laughing and it was such a beautiful location. It was amazing!!”

“We hired Char and Chowder as the caterer for our wedding. They certainly did not have an easy job, as they had to design a menu that accommodated a wide range of tastes, from foodies to "meat and potato" types. I, the bride, am also a vegetarian (and one of the aforementioned foodies) and so it was important to me that there be a "real" vegetarian dish that stands on its own, rather than being an afterthought. If you're a vegetarian, I'm sure you know what I am talking about! Despite these challenges, Char and Chowder delivered an outstanding spread of hors d'oeuvres and dinner buffet that pleased everyone, including children, picky eaters, and more refined tastes. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, raved about how incredible the food was and how high-quality it was. The food is a really important part of any wedding, and it was important to us that we keep our guests well-fed with delicious food. We had an amazing wedding (on Ministers Island) and I have no doubt that Char and Chowder's services played a significant role in that.”

“Ordered at the store. Young staff working explained the new menus very well. They seemed very happy at work which is always a good sign. Store was very clean. Subs we're made very well.

Only down side is the price. Two chicken rancher subs and a bottle of water came out to $38.
Ouch.”

“We could have really enjoyed the ambience if it was summer but again, there wouldn't be any tables available then. The restaurant was literally empty and maybe common this time of the year and we went way before normal dinner time. The Cajun Fettuccine Chicken was really delicious, as was the seafood chowder. The seafood casserole was not good enough. It was not bad, but not great either. It lacked some flavour and the sides along with the seafood seems to be a bit expensive for the price.”

“Fantastic service, was accommodated on our day trip when we stopped in with our dog for a quick lunch. They set us our own table in the common space and made sure we had everything we needed. I believe our server was Matt, checked with all of us for any allergies or sensitivitys well taking our orders and was sure to check on us after the first few bites. Highly recommend, food was delicious with a great attention to detail. Will be bac again”

However, the most impressive part of our visit was the customer service we received from the eleven year old young man who took our order. Polite, personable, articulate - he should be conducting seminars on customer service! That young man is going places!”
