They hosted 20 of us for a private event which was a huge hit with all. The apps, the beef Wellington and the key lime pie were outstanding as was the service. “Ordered at the store. Young staff working explained the new menus very well. They seemed very happy at work which is always a good sign. Store was very clean. Subs we're made very well.

Only down side is the price. Two chicken rancher subs and a bottle of water came out to $38.

“We could have really enjoyed the ambience if it was summer but again, there wouldn't be any tables available then. The restaurant was literally empty and maybe common this time of the year and we went way before normal dinner time. The Cajun Fettuccine Chicken was really delicious, as was the seafood chowder. The seafood casserole was not good enough. It was not bad, but not great either. It lacked some flavour and the sides along with the seafood seems to be a bit expensive for the price.”

The breading on all the items was very thick,Therefore couldn't taste the seafood. its unfortunate because the sizes of the Scallops and Shrimp were huge. I pushed aside the breading as much as I could. The Coleslaw didn't taste like anything.”

“We had some great dinner at Braxton's yesterday. The food and service were excellent. We had the beet and goat cheese salad and a beef tenderloin + loaded baked potato along with a bottle of wine. All was excellent. The steak was perfectly done and the loaded baked potato was nice and moist. The salad was very fresh. Our waiter was especially excellent and recommended an excellent French pinot noir that was not on the menu.”

“The crabmeat roll was delicious and, according to my husband, the best vanilla soft serve ice cream in the world! However, the most impressive part of our visit was the customer service we received from the eleven year old young man who took our order. Polite, personable, articulate - he should be conducting seminars on customer service! That young man is going places!”
