“I was in yesterday to celebrate my elderly father's birthday, and we were not disappointed! Our server Kylee was amazing, she went about and beyond to accommodate my father's minced diet, and to be sure he was well looked after.Even going the extra mile to check herself to be sure his sauce for his fish wasn't too thin, so that it would be safe for him to eat. We really appreciated her extra care and concern in this matter. You could tell she really enjoys her job and the people she serves,and really didn't mind making the extra effort for him. The atmosphere was lovely, we all were very happy with our meals. I also can't say enough about kylee for then assisting my father and his gf out to the car with their walkers,as I pulled up to the door so they didn't get wet in the rain. Overall exceeded our expectations and will definitely be back! You Kylee are a rare gem and I will highly recommend to others to come and see you! “Had a meal with friends at Taste of Egypt on Saturday. Wonderful service, friendly staff, super yummy food, very creamy hummus! Tried the shawarma poutine, yummy chicken gravy, lots of curds and nice thick home-cut fries. Tried the arayes with yummy kofta beef filling, lovely creamy garlic sauce, all breads were fluffy and soft. Wonderful experience, hibiscus tea was divine.“

“Had the buttermilk chicken and cashew salad last night, it was a beautiful salad and it was big enough for a meal. It was so delicious and I enjoyed every bite! The dressing was a peanut butter Thai. My husband had a goat cheese bacon burger and he enjoyed every bite as well. The service was friendly and very attentive. We enjoyed our evening out, thanks lily’s cafe!“
