“This was our second visit to Magnolia 23. Both experiences have been excellent. First time we ordered chicken and dumplings they are best I’ve ever had! Today I tried country style steak wife ordered fried chicken both very good but I prefer the dumplings better then my grandma’s. Sides are always delicious collards and best potato salad in NC Desserts blackberry cobbler and persimmon pudding Excellent. Don the owner takes time to visit with his guests and treats everyone like family We travel from Hickory to Chapel Hill frequently In the future we will stop here for our lunch.“

“Overall good experience. We came a bit late but they still let us order small bites. They had a great variety of beers spanning from $0.35 - $0.85 per ounce. They also have a rotation or cocktails on tap and a prosecco. Seating is 1st come 1st served. Only issue, the mac was very soupy, it probably needed a smidge longer in the oven but we took it to go and jazzed it up at home later.“

So, if you want to get your money's worth for fast food Sakuras is the place. The consistency of quality every single time is what keeps me coming back. In fact I ordered yesterday and I'll order again today. I could eat these healthy meals every day. A good blend of taste, textures, protein, and good healthy vegetables. Good people. Really good and honest people. I have a high level of respect for the manager and her family. Don't even know her name as many times as I've been there.
