“Recently visited Asheville and happened upon Avas. I tried the sour cream donut and the apple fritter. As good as I have ever tasted and I've had more than my share of donuts. The only downside is that I'm now back home and Avas is hundreds of miles from home. oh well“

“We stopped at Vortex donuts in Asheville on our trip. They have tons of vegan donuts and I was so excited to stop here and let the kids pick donuts in an actual bakery for the first time! They both had their hearts set on chocolate frosted with rainbow sprinkles before we even walked in and my heart sank because they were right next to peanut butter flavored donuts in the case and no guarantee that the donuts wouldn’t be contaminated by the glazing trays even if the employee took them from the back. He said that none of the options would be completely safe since they reuse trays for glazing. Thank goodness we were there when it was not busy because the manager (??) overheard the conversation and offered to go in the back and freshly glaze donuts for us! 🥰 You have no idea how thankful we are to that man. The kids were over the moon getting to try cake and yeast donuts and of course we bought extras to our destination! Andy and I got several other unique flavors to try and they were also so dang good! The kids give Vortex a 100 out of 100 star rating! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️“

“It's donuts! They taste great! They're terrible for you. I bought them as a gift for someone else. I only eat them when I'm riding really long distances on the bicycle... like more than 100 miles. They taste even better then.“

“I recommend Dunkin tho I do not recommend the Dunkin located at 1975 Hendersonville Rd Asheville, NC. I went through the drive through and wanted to try something new-the matcha latte. I normally get a sm decaf hot coffee with three cream and two stevia. Once I purchased it I tasted it. I didn’t like it. I asked for a refund and both the cashier and manager ganged up on me telling me if I ordered it I have to deal with it. The manager did not offer to replace the value of my matcha latte. I’m not sure how she even landed a position in management? I’m not sure if she even cared about delivering quality customer service! I demanded for at least what I normally buy. The manager kept referring to me as “honey.” I have been serving within the banking industry for over 20 years and care to do the most that I can ethically and lawfully speaking for my customers and when I can’t I give and show my empathy. I didn’t give a good survey and I equally phoned corporate. My hope is that no one else is treated as unkindly and as unfairly as I was.“

“We are regular Dunkin guest at another store but we come here from time to time. This store has the best staff and management team in the area. They are friendly and get the orders right every time.
