“My favorite favorite place!!! I moved to New York and whenever I’m down in Durham I make sure to visit because I’m always craving their delicious food; portion sizes are great for the price too. Service is a bit slow, I wish they would hire more people. Either way, they can do me no wrong.“

Everyone here is so very sweet, specially Paul, he made his restaurant ALL HALAL because of his friend who is a Muslim and he wanted him to come eat at his restaurant 🥹💕 we need more Paul’s in todays world. But for real, the food it’s absolutely AMAZING!! Don’t sleep on those wings, they’re so simple yet one of the BEST wings I’ve ever had, and I also love the beef salad, definitely a must try. “Picked up drunken noodles for lunch and it was quite tasty. The heat was just as I requested, but the fried tofu was slightly tough and I would have preferred a little more sauce. However, the amount and variety of vegetables was certainly a step above other drunken noodles I have had.“

“Had a wonderful dinner there yesterday. Food was so delicious! The pot stickers with the red curry sauce (my favorite!). Main course was Pad Thai, the best version of this dish I've had in a long time. Everything was very flavorful, but not too spicy. Will be back soon to try more items. Our waiter, Kowit, was excellent too. Thank you!“

“Taste of the food was good, service could work on their manners and the atmosphere was bland, went with 2 friends and a baby so that was called a big group and 18% was added to the bill, I dont mind tipping but a heads up would have been nice“

“Oh this is a great place for Pho!
My girls like the fried rice, my son likes the ramen but my husband and I love the extremely large super hot bowl of pho!
The beef is sliced perfectly and the hot broth cooks the beef so tenderly.
The staff is friendly and prices are good.
Minor issues I find is the lobby.
It is very small with limited seating.
It may be that they don’t have much dine in customers so perhaps they don’t need much space.
It’s still a wonderful little spot to grab a hot soup or noddles“

“I honestly judge an Asian restaurant on its hot and sour soup. I am delighted to discover that Peony Asian Bistro's hot and sour soup may be the best I've EVER had--and that is saying something! It was just the right level of sour and spicy, and the fresh mushrooms floating on top were absolutely delicious. In addition, the consistency of the broth was perfect. Far too many restaurants make it so that the soup is more like gelatin than liquid--ugh. The portion sizes for lunch were very generous, and while the beef and broccoli I ordered was not as flavorful as the soup, it was still pretty good. Finally, the staff were very welcoming and helpful. When I realized I had left my wallet at home, they offered Apple Pay and I was able to have a truly delicious lunch. I am a very happy customer and will definitely visit often!“
