“We loved the food here. The thai food is authentic and the place has a quiet / serene vibe. Ordered the Masaman Curry, Tom Kha Soup, Bikini Shrimps and Fried Calamari. All were excellent especially the Masaman curry, which did remind of the food that I had in South Thailand. Plenty of parking outside. Will be back.“
“Quick and friendly service! Decent sushi for a good price.Dietary restrictions: Wide variety of menu options to fit many dietary needsParking: Free parkingKid-friendliness: Kid friendly, staff was very accommodating for our childWheelchair accessibility: Yes, restaurant was wheelchair accessible.“
“Love coming here to eat sushi. The staff is always nice, and the fish is very fresh. I would recommend it to any sushi lover. The variety of sushi rolls they offer is impressive, with unique combinations of ingredients that I haven't seen anywhere else. The presentation of the sushi is always spectacular, making it not only delicious but also visually appealing. The ambiance of the restaurant is perfect for a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience, whether you're coming with friends or having a romantic dinner. The service is top-notch, with the staff being attentive and knowledgeable about the different types of sushi and their flavors.“
“The food was delicious, we had beef ramen and a set of rolls and sushi and a children's set. The ramen broth was so rich and delicious. I would come back here again if I lived nearby. The staff was friendly, our server did a great job. There was such a loud group of people sitting next to us that we felt uncomfortable. But this does not apply to food and service“
“What a great accidental find. This place is a sleeper in a strip mall! Delightful service, so attentive and gracious I thought I was in a much swankier big-city restaurant. Furnishings are simple but sparkling clean and beautifully set. The background music was unusually elegant. And the food was absolute perfection. Drunken Noodles (good Thai-restaurant-test) was a piping hot, perfectly seasoned, salty-sweet-hot-umami melange of Thai flavors, fresh broccoli and TONS of big fresh-tasting shrimp.Vegetarian options: Plenty of choicesDietary restrictions: I have none, but saw lots on the menu to address these, and overhead folks ordering things exactly the way they needed them.Parking: plenty of parking, probably just need to make sure you're in a space marked for "retail" with the campus next door.“
“We enjoy going to OSHA! The food is always delicious! Leo is so nice and friendly. He has a great staff. Our waiter, Antonio remembered us! He welcomed us back and pretty much remembered what we order! Now that is excellent service and commitment to your patrons! We can't say enough great things about OSHA!“
“Wow guys! Get yourself some take out or dine in because this place is sooo flavorful! Ive been to Thailand and this place has tons of authentic dishes to choose from! We sat outside and loved the vibe—they had tons of heaters and we were comfortable! My daughter is picky and they made plain noodles in a broth that she devoured! The service was fast, friendly and honest! Totes recommend this place! #supportlocal #apexncKid-friendliness: They dont have a kids menu but can make delish plain noodles $3 and add broth for $8! Win win!“
“Love their food. Drunken Noodle is amazing as is the red curry and mango sticky rice. Wish the restaurant had more seating as there's not always a table available.Vegetarian options: Only place I've found that I can trust to not use any fish sauce in their veggie options. Iykyk“
“This place is absolutely amazing their deals are amazing yesterday me and my husband came here to eat and they had. Bogof on sushi rolls and lawd they were the best sushi ive had, wanna take ab crab Rangoon's... they use real crab meat and their savory instead of sweet like most are, for our entrees i got the princess burrito with spicy tuna swapped with shrimp tempura and omg!“
“This has been our go-to Thai place in Raleigh! We have not found better Pad Thai anywhere else in Raleigh or when visiting other cities. The takeout portions may seem a little expensive, but they give you a large portion that can feed most people two meals, so it’s worth it!“
“The food was amazing!,just finished eating,,,I had green curry with shrimp #2 heat. My friend had the drunkin noodles w/shrimp #2 heat. If you don't like a lot of heat get #1....it's really spicy. Don't know how people do 3 OR 4! Waitress was kind and very helpful! The atmosphere was pleasant, just minimal decor, but very clean!!!! Highly recommend if you like Thai ?!!!“
“My husband serprised me over the weekend and we drove 3 hrs to Raleigh for a comedy show, but a huge goal was to have authentic Thai. We lived in Thailand for 12 years and have missed genuine Thai so much. It was great talking to P. Joy in Thai and the food was the best we've had state side! Khao Soi and som tom were both so delicious! We actually ate lunch yesterday at another Thai place, but it had nothing on Thai Star.“
“I have been coming here for years. It is my favorite Asian restaurant in this area. I absolutely love how spicy they will let you make it. Our family favorites are, pad Thai, red curry, drunken noodles and basil fried rice ( chicken or shrimp).I only reason I gave 4 stars is they use to let you order early, and pick up right at 5:00, now they don’t. We like to eat early and beat the traffic. Because they don’t allow that anymore, we don’t pick up as much as we use to.“
“Best authentic Chinese in the area. We do not order the more American tailored stuff. We only order family style. The place is small and very basic. But you go there for the food, not the ambience. We most often take out as a family, but dine in with friends.“
“Very decent sushi spot! My usual sushi go-to in the area is Tasu, but I wanted to switch it up. I ordered gyoza, a few specialty rolls, and the pineapple fried rice with shrimp. The gyoza and sushi was very decent! I wouldn’t get the pineapple fried rice again however, not my fav. I will say it’s a little pricey in my opinion (paid about $60 for two people for takeout). Not sure if they do BOGO sushi rolls for dine-in, but would definitely be the only reason to go back anytime soon!“
“Chai's offers a mind blowing menu jam packed with bangers. I ordered the Thai duck and chicken satay. The peanut sauce was incredible. Chai's took a simple chicken dish(the chicken satay) and blew it out of the water. The duck was succulent yet crispy, I feel like they found the luckiest duck in Raleigh and decided to cook it just for me. To all the foodies out there, do yourself a favor and put chais on the calendar. It was incredible.I will be back to try the sushi.“
“The food here is excellent. It might take a bit, as they are always busy and they have a smaller staff. The guy that runs the place takes care of his customers, and he even gave us complimentary tea for our wait time. Definitely worth the wait.“
“We had lunch at Ni Asian, and it was an excellent choice. We went early (a good idea, as there were people waiting by the time we were done) and were seated right away in a pretty back room. My Drunken Noodles were delicious, as was my Hot and Sour soup and Jasmine tea. The Pad Thai was perfect. Both dishes were full of fresh vegetables, very colorful and flavorful. I particularly liked the option to select brown rice and vegetarian protein for most dishes. Service was friendly and efficient.Vegetarian options: Almost every item is offered with a vegetarian or vegan option.Parking: The restaurant is in a mall with a huge parking lot.“
“All meats in the dishes were juicy and tender, perfectly cooked. The pho soup had an excellent flavor. The bun chicken dish was also very good, although it was missing carrots. Spring rolls were freshly made, the wrappers were a little extra chewy but very good.Vegetarian options: There is an option of vegetarian spring rolls as well as a few vegetarian dishes.Parking: Apple parking outside the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: There are two ways into the restaurant. The entrance at the front of the building has a wheelchair ramp, the entrance on the side of the building has a few steps.“
“Baan Thai being a 4.2 on here is a travesty. When I walked in the simple decor told me one thing- we’re here for flavor not frills. I enjoyed the gentle intrumental music playing on a speaker. This was my first visit, I ordered the green curry and my better half ordered the pad thai. The green curry was outstanding with a slight kick. I dont care for pad thai, but she says “it was sweet without being overbearing. The slight onion flavour worked well into the dish and balaced the sweetness of the sauce.”We also got Thai Dumplings as a starter, the salty sauce was wonderful, but I forgot to take a picture. This was much better than my other thai experience in the area-which I wont name out of respect for the owners.“
“Came here for lunch and had a fantastic meal. Located 50 feet off Glenwood, I’m surprised this place doesn’t have more reviews. This was a solid choice for our work group lunch. One person in our party ordered the Pork Shumai and they were fantastic. Each lunch special comes with a ginger salad which has real ginger dressing (a little spicy).I ordered the Thaiphoon Pad Thai which was great. Incredible flavor and I loved the use of glass noodles instead of the traditional pad Thai noodle. If you’re downtown and looking for good Thai food this is a great choice. I’ll definitely be returning soon!“
“Thai's noodle has been our favorite sushi restaurant for many years, and find the prices to be very reasonable and the quality of the sushi is excellent. Relaxing and clean atmosphere with very friendly staff. We often get sushi for take out and the quality and presentation of sushi is just as good as in the restaurant. Our favorite rolls are Scary Spider, Tiger, Thais Roll, and lovers roll.... though we like them all! The pad Thai and chicken is also great!!Highly recommend this restaurant.“
“We absolutely love Sushi at the Park and if you get a chance to visit this amazing place ask for a seat at Jens table. Jen is the absolute best and knows our order by heart since we’ve been coming. The sushi is very fresh and we love the buster sword roll as our fav roll. The sushi bowls are phenomenal as well. You cant go wrong with anything from this restaurant. Its a must try.“
