“Pad Thai and the pork drunken noodles were very good, flavorful, and just the right spice level. Everything tasted fresh. The rice in the mango sticky rice was quite crunchy but overall everything was delicious. Service was very attentive and kind. Would definitely come back.“

The balance of flavors and the presentation is outstanding. We drove an hour and a half to try this restaurant and it was totally worth it. If I lived closer I would definitely come here once a week or twice.
I would just suggest them to keep the restaurant clean inside. It was little sticky by the table while we were eating.

“We lived in Thailand for 12 years, since returning stateside just over 2 years ago we have tried several Thai restaurants and have been very let down. The khao soi and som tom were spot on! Amazing, the fried rice was delicious and P Joy even got us some Thai chili's in the lime/fish sauce. Highly recommend Thai Star, everyone was very friendly and kind!“

“Decent food, great service, and an altogether pleasant experience. Next time I need to order a sizzling platter. I was a little sad I had 3 shrimp in my eggplant dish. It did taste good, the sauce was especially tasty. The fried chicken was quite delicious, the batter had the right amount of crisp. The mango in the sticky rice was so fresh and was the highlight of my meal. The ambience was family friendly, I did really like the aquarium.“

“Stopped in here for lunch and we are so glad we did. They were super fast and kept our water filled. The crab wontons were the best we have ever had! I had the shrimp with fried rice and my husband had the grilled chicken, the thai chili sauce was so good I couldve drank it from the bowl. Everything was delicious and the portion size is ALOT! We both have lunch for tomorrow too. Highly recommend this place!
Had to add more to my initial review because we went back and Oh My Goodness did they have the best coconut cake in the world! It was so fluffy and soft and just melted in your mouth! They should 100% be making wedding cakes because I am a Wedding planner and this cake would be a show stopper at a wedding. Also, My husband and I this next visit didn't even realize we were eating each other's food. Halfway through I was like, wait didn't I get the chicken? But both of us were enjoying our food so much we didn't even realize or care. This food is amazing people!“

“It’s pretty good! I’ve only had the bahn mis but they are delicious and fresh and full of veggies and meat. It was affordable as well only being 10 bucks for a small bahn mi and two egg rolls. They also have more regular size bahn mis though that are separate from the ones on the combos. However, for lunch I would come here over a fast food place any day of the week.“

“Very busy even on weekdays, that’s a good sign that the food is legit. We ordered crispy pork belly, pot frog, stir-fried string bean, tea egg and hot and sour soup. Everything was fine except for hot and sour soup, the taste was weird and salty. A bit disappointed since it’s my favorite soup. I will try the noodles next time.“

“A part of my order was not delivered, although I ordered on their direct website. when I called to ask for a refund, I was told that they would not do so because they are only responsible for making the food. Noone offered to contact the driver service to rectify. Instead, when I mentioned that I could only choose to not use the restaurant again, I was laughed at. Very unfortunate. I used to greatly enjoy this location. UPDATE: The restaurant reached out, apologized, and are doing what they can to make it right. I appreciate the follow up, and I totally will go back. The food is good, and they are one of the few places in that part of Durham that isn't a chain.“
