We made the drive from Charlotte to eat here!!! It was amazing. Great food all around, amazing service. Everyone is so friendly, attentive and welcoming. I will say, if you’re in a car pulling into Jays. Go extremely slow, exaggerate the slow pull in. You’ll be fine in a truck or lifter SUV. My boyfriends car fender liner got busted out even when he went slow due to how rough it is pulling in think because It’s uneven and bumpy and makes it harsh. beware of the parking lot....read full review
Great food, great stop! Went for a family dinner. I had the broiled flounder, very tasty. My wife had salt and pepper catfish, also yummy! Excellent, friendly service at a Stanly County institution. Be advised- restaurant is cash only!

Ordered the small fish plate and was pleasantly surprised with the size of the flounder that was brought to our table the piece took up most of the plate it's well worth the money.
