Husband and I had an anniversary dinner here , he is still commenting on the dinner we had. Service here is all around fantastic, the presentation excellent . I have introduced several of my friends from out of town and not one bad comment. Several have posted their comments. They have something for everyone's taste and they certainly go out of their way to make sure there customers are happy.. a small towns treasure this place is!!?
We love eating at Gary’s. I’ve not had a bite there that wasn’t delicious. Tonight we arrived a little after 7; not realizing they closed at 7:30 - but the service was great….food came out fast, perfectly cooked and delicious and we didn’t feel rushed at all.
On another note - we love hanging out at the bar side on the weekends too. The bartenders are great, drinks are good and the people are friendly!

We actually went to the restaurant that started my love for food. Where I learned to cook the perfect shrimp and learned to cook steaks by look and feel rather than time. Gary Hardison was my teacher and started it all. We at at Gary’s Downeast restaurant and the food was amazing as well as the service.
