“Called in for a Downeast Burger on the way to the river. Order was ready when they said it would be. Window attendant was prompt and friendly. The burger was outstanding. Not one to eat with your hand, you will need a plate and a few napkins. I will be doing this again!!”

“So I was in Havelock doing some work and saw this place on the map so we decided to stop by. The food was great. I had the Chamorro Fiesta with chicken and rice and shrimp patty’s and cucumbers. I couldn’t finish the portion I was given. And the lumpia was good too, so was the short ribs that my coworker let me try from his plate. I will definitely come back when I come to Havelock. The staff here were very friendly, very nice people. Stop by for good food.”

“There's a very good reason why this restaurant is usually busy at dinner time! The food is excellent, the staff friendly and efficient, and the restaurant clean and well appointed. The birria tacos, as well as the quesotacos absolutely fantastic. Cindy, the bartender, makes great margaritas, and is fun to chat with. I wish I had time to try more of their dishes, everything I saw come out looked amazing. If/when I get out here to Havelock again, this restaurant is definitely on my list to return to!”

“I have been addicted to coming to Good Vibez for their coffee lately, but I finally got out of my comfort zone and decided to get their bacon egg and cheese on a everything bagel with cheddar and pepperjack cheese and wow. They have been hitting the mark every single day. The food is soooo good and so is the espresso. If you live in Havelock or are passing through, this is a place that you need to visit regularly! Its just too good not to!”

“Good food. Good service. Clean. Got the burrito brisket bowl. Nachos are on the extra salty side, but I like it; others may not. It’s expensive but so is it everywhere now. More of a sit down price restaurant.I really would like them to offer sweet tea. The pineapple tea is decent. “I’m so pleased to report that all the positive reviews of this place are true!! When I went in, I really didn’t know what I wanted, and the barista was so helpful. She made a London Fog tea latte for me that was just perfect! The atmosphere there is very welcoming. I will definitely be a weekly visitor there!”

“Hands down the best bbq I’ve ever had. The service was excellent and Rick is very engaging and an excellent host. My wife and daughter said the fried chicken was the best they’ve ever had and would agree with them. If you are remotely near Oriental NC be sure to stop in and enjoy a great meal.”

Call first or better yet just order what you want. She had a gluten free flourless cake that I fainted eating. I got two pieces and they are gone. Done. It had a crunch thing on top and wow. Idk what it was but some would call it magic.My partner had the tres leches cake and said it was one of the best they have ever had!!!We got 6 cupcakes and so far every single ones has been eating with sheer joy!!!I’ll be back Thursday for a gluten free treat surprise- something cheesecake parfait- cannoli magic. “Conveniently located on the main road in Oriental, NC, this restaurant offers good wraps and sandwiches. Prices are very fair. While they recently expanded and remodeled the interior, it looks cheaply done by the owners, not a professional carpenter.”

“A couple friends and I went here for lunch. The staff was nice but definitely needed some help. We didn't have to wait long at all, which is good. I ordered the Reuben and just was not impressed at all. The meat was overcooked and cooked more like Philly steak. The girls liked their food though! It's a small place and you'd probably not even see it if traveling, but it's cute.”

“I consider myself a pizza connoisseur, and Mario’s Pizza of Havelock is the best I’ve had. I’ve tried various mom and pops pizzerias in Havelock and New Bern, and I haven’t found one as appetizing as Mario’s Pizza. The sauce is rich, the cheese is high quality, and the crust (my favorite part) is crunchy, and not chewy!”

“A great place for local craft brews, relaxed atmosphere. Small bar inside, a couple of tables for small groups. Front porch has rocking chairs and a two tables to watch the slow pace of Oriental go by. Out back, there are several picnic tables and chairs available to enjoy live music on Friday and Saturday. Enjoy the laid back atmosphere, cold beer and good company.”

“We had a wonderful lunch here today after watching the sailboat races with friends. Had some delicious local beers on draft (blonde and an IPA) and our food was on point! Best ranch and Reuben I’ve had in a LONG time!! We will definitely be back to enjoy next time we’re in Oriental. Service was attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was very chill and spacious.
