Excellent Thai food. Noodle dishes, rice dishes, soups, spring rolls, Chicken Satay… we tried it all and it was excellent. Crispy duck was special! Will repeat every time we are anywhere near Asheboro.
Delicious and FRESH food! Asian and Thai is the cuisine.. under new ownership. I’m so happy that there’s a new restaurant with such great food! Desperately needed in this area! I highly recommend it!
Something Different Restaurant & Catering offers a unique blend of American and Greek cuisine in Asheboro. The restaurant serves high-quality dishes, including grilled salmon, shrimp kabobs, and demi-glaze roast over mashed potatoes, all perfectly cooked to tender perfection. Recently, it has become known for its new Asian and Thai offerings, such as noodle dishes, rice dishes, soups, spring rolls, Chicken Satay, and crispy duck, which customers find delicious and fresh. The restaurant is under new management, with owners from Laos, and features a new menu that is reasonably priced. The staff, including the chef, provide kind and attentive service, making visitors feel welcomed. Parking is available in the shopping center. Many guests have found it to be a great place for a quick stop, with positive comments about exceptional wait staff and tasty food. Be sure to save room for the incredible cheese cake!
