“Recently visited Asheville and happened upon Avas. I tried the sour cream donut and the apple fritter. As good as I have ever tasted and I've had more than my share of donuts. The only downside is that I'm now back home and Avas is hundreds of miles from home. oh well“

“We stopped at Vortex donuts in Asheville on our trip. They have tons of vegan donuts and I was so excited to stop here and let the kids pick donuts in an actual bakery for the first time! They both had their hearts set on chocolate frosted with rainbow sprinkles before we even walked in and my heart sank because they were right next to peanut butter flavored donuts in the case and no guarantee that the donuts wouldn’t be contaminated by the glazing trays even if the employee took them from the back. He said that none of the options would be completely safe since they reuse trays for glazing. Thank goodness we were there when it was not busy because the manager (??) overheard the conversation and offered to go in the back and freshly glaze donuts for us! 🥰 You have no idea how thankful we are to that man. The kids were over the moon getting to try cake and yeast donuts and of course we bought extras to our destination! Andy and I got several other unique flavors to try and they were also so dang good! The kids give Vortex a 100 out of 100 star rating! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️“

“Not the easiest place to get out of. I hate the one in Hendersonville closed! The doughnuts were delicious. Service was quick. “I recommend Dunkin tho I do not recommend the Dunkin located at 1975 Hendersonville Rd Asheville, NC. I went through the drive through and wanted to try something new-the matcha latte. I normally get a sm decaf hot coffee with three cream and two stevia. Once I purchased it I tasted it. I didn’t like it. I asked for a refund and both the cashier and manager ganged up on me telling me if I ordered it I have to deal with it. The manager did not offer to replace the value of my matcha latte. I’m not sure how she even landed a position in management? I’m not sure if she even cared about delivering quality customer service! I demanded for at least what I normally buy. The manager kept referring to me as “honey.” I have been serving within the banking industry for over 20 years and care to do the most that I can ethically and lawfully speaking for my customers and when I can’t I give and show my empathy. I didn’t give a good survey and I equally phoned corporate. My hope is that no one else is treated as unkindly and as unfairly as I was.“

“We just moved from Orlando, and this Dunkin blows ANY store there, out of the water!! Not one time have I ever had my coffee made wrong. And I've been daily for 2 months, lol. The staff are always so polite and the store is clean. Love it, thank you !!“

“I had a problem with my online order where my bank got charged but the store didn't receive it. They made my order anyway on trust and gave us extra donuts.
I had told them to put bacon in the grilled cheese sandwiches and they forgot this. Again, not being able to confirm this and having to operate outside their system, they remade the sandwiches free of charge.
THEN my 3 year old son knocked over and broke a $13.99 cup they had for sale. I had my son bring it up to make amends (with daddy's credit card) and they refused compensation, telling us it was their pleasure to have us there.
Ideally the system should just work in the first place, but now I'm crushed with guilt over their kindness and have to give a 5 star review.“
