About Early Girl Eatery

Early Girl Eatery is a welcoming spot with super helpful, kind, and informative staff. The restaurant is accessible, making it suitable for families with babies and seniors with mobility aids. The menu boasts top-notch food, including the best true biscuits in Asheville, which stand out from the dry, square biscuits found elsewhere. There are impressive vegan and gluten-free options, including gluten-free waffles. Customers appreciate the amazing food and great service, often highlighting the attentive servers who ensure a pleasant dining experience. Favorites include the fried chicken sandwich and biscuits dipped in French toast batter topped with vanilla crème, often enjoyed with maple syrup. The coffee is rich and flavorful, and there is unending coffee available for diners. The seating area, though small, is very cute, with lovely outdoor dining options. The bar offers great coffee, local beers, and mimosa flights. Many items are sourced from local farmers, contributing to a filling, locally sourced meal. Despite recent challenges, including water issues caused by hurricanes, the staff continues to work hard to provide excellent service. With its warm atmosphere and outstanding cuisine, Early Girl Eatery is a must-visit for anyone in the area.

This local group of restaurants has been serving really good food with great service and a comfortable atmosphere since 2001. Chicken and waffles are there, of course, but loads of other stuff, including spinach/potato cakes with tomato gravy, one of my favorites. Highly recommended.

Early Girl Eatery in Biltmore had terrible service. We left before our food arrived. We sat there for 30 minutes and a server never even checked on us. The server also forgot our coffee order. A local couple came in and got lots of attention. We continued to be invisible. I guess we will never know the quality of the food because I am never going back. Good riddance.

Went to the one on 8th Wall. Nothing exciting except the vodka creamsicle mimosa. The food was subpar. A $10 chicken sandwich with no sides, sides are $5 each. The pulled pork breakfast bowl was a lump of pork over some scrambled eggs, not appealing at all. The servers were nice but not quick at all, the place was dead for a Saturday at 6pm. Decor is bland and old.
