I have been to Izzy's west several times, and each time the coffee is excellent and the staff is superb. I don't understand the negative reviews either. The one time I had an issue, I made sure to inform the staff and it was an easy fix. Sometimes talking to someone makes all the difference, but most people avoid that nowadays. Anyway, love the place, the coffee and the staff!
Small place with lots of parking behind the building and good coffee. The everything bagel with salmon cream cheese is pretty awesome! I would highly recommend a visit here; just be aware that it can get busy at times, and Izzy's only seems to have one person running the counter. However, your patience will be rewarded if you wait in a long line when you sip some good coffee and get to bite into a delicious bagel.
Iced coffee was great-nutty and just the right amount of milk and ice. Atmosphere was clean and inviting. Service wasn’t what I would have thought though. I was not greeted when I walked in and I mentioned that I had never been in before and the person at the counter did not seem to care at all and hardly spoke to me. I felt kinda judged.
