Old Europe Pastries Reviews
Old Europe gvl is not the same as old Europe pastries. Asheville old Europe the best and not the same owners.
Their pastries are divine and I would go there any time I am visiting Asheville
A biggest heartfelt thank you to Old Europe Pastries! We were in Asheville this past weekend visiting our son…which also happened to be the weekend Hurricane Helene decided to wreak havoc on the city. Amid the devastation and uncertainty the people here were serving pastries and drinks at their front window…and only taking donations!! I will never return to Asheville and not go and patronize this business…and everyone else should too! Our pumpkin bread was delicious! Thanks...read full review

Old Europe Pastries is a popular spot for an evening snack, offering a wide variety of classic pastries, including cheesecakes, key lime pies, cookies, and eclairs. The atmosphere is inviting, with the aroma of coffee and great conversations. Customers have noted the beautiful establishment and the nice assortment of pastries, including the hazelnut napoleon and chocolate dipped peanut butter cookies. The eclairs, made with a perfect mixture of custard and whipped cream, are a must-try, and the chocolate has a milk chocolate flavor that does not overpower the light pastry. The restaurant also offers a range of gluten-free desserts, making it a great option for those with dietary restrictions. Customers often praise the desserts, especially the rich, smooth coffee that is also bold, and they appreciate that this is one of the few places to get a coffee after 4pm. The location is good for foot traffic and attracts many locals, making it a nice spot for a post dinner coffee fix or sweet treat. Though some find the interior a bit cold and the prices not clearly posted, the overall experience remains positive. The staff and owner are appreciated for their friendly service, and the business has shown kindness by offering free coffee and sandwiches during tough times. Overall, Old Europe Pastries continues to be a recommended destination for satisfying a sweet tooth and enjoying good coffee.
