I know that they are temporarily closed. My review is on a visit from July 30th.
The counter person was very pleasant. We made our order during a busy time of the day.
The food was very fresh and had great flavor. Everything came out in a timely manner.
The store was very clean.
I hope that they reopen soon. I am sure they sustained lots of damage during the Hurricane.

Love this place! From the quiche to the creme brulee everything is on point! The people who work here are friendly and knowledgeable. Suggesting the best flavors and the best places to shop! I had the Monte christo sandwich that they offer! I've decided it's my new addiction!

I’ve loved everything from here, great fast and hearty lunch option for downtown workers, I am so glad I found this place! And such a nice place to sit and enjoy my meal too.

I'm so pleased with my decision to stop at Well Bred for lunch instead of just ordering my usual shortbread cookie! I ordered a grilled BLT on a croissant with mayo, and it was scrumptious! The croissant was so soft, buttery, crispy, and fresh, and the bacon was thick, with lovely fresh tomato slices. It came with a side, and I chose chips. Of course I had a shortbread cookie for dessert! Heaven! The kind gentleman at the counter delivered my meal to me at a close table in Grove Arcade. I enjoyed people watching while I dined and cooled off in the AC on a very hot day in downtown Asheville! I will be back for sure!

This place is a great lunch option, the sesame noodles cold salad, tuna salad and breakfast croissant sandwich are my favorite items. The portions are huge, definitely get your moneys worth here!

I wish I had a photo but I ate so fast I didn't think about it until afterwards. I tried the Vegan Classic Chocolate Chip cookie. I was hesitant but the merchant assured me that it was in their top three sellers. This cookie was delicious! It was like a tender shortbread cookie with chocolate chips. I would totally get it again on my next visit to Asheville. Thanks to the guys working on Saturday morning 1/14 around 11am.
The brownie was good and the workers were kind, but as an avid coffee drinker, this was probably the worst coffee I've ever had.

Excellent coffee. Wide assortment of beautiful pastries. The almond cranberry scone was one of the best scones I ever had. Cute place.

I’m from SC and was told their cakes are delicious, so on 09/25/23 my husband and I stopped at the one on North Main St. Weaverville. It was near the end of their business day and asked if I could buy the whole chocolate fudge cake in the display case, the manager said no. So, I asked if I could buy 10 slices of the chocolate fudge cake at their asking cost which is $7.00 a slice and he still said no ?♀️?♀️ guess he didn’t want to make a $70+ sale on one order..
