Zia Taqueria has some of the worst Mexican food I've ever had in my entire life. The contrast between their passionate descriptions of the food and the food that is delivered is the epitome of Facebook "Profile picture vs Tagged picture." For instance, their menu describes the Mexican corn as "A half cob basted in a red chile butter & topped with queso fresco" - LOL NOPE. great social distancing. Food is amazing. I ordered the house salad with chicken. yummy. black beans were excellent. goes well with the habanero sauce. others ordered tacos and enchiladas. love them. also they are playing great music. lots of motown. we'll definitely visit when we're back in Asheville.

Upon arrival, there were the usual signs that say "mask required." I asked the manager if it was okay if we maintained 6ft social distancing while standing in line outside, to remove our masks because I have a medical issue that prevents me from wearing a mask for more than a few minutes, or my breathing becomes comprised. They said no. I complied. We waited in line for 15 minutes. My breathing became compromised and I had to take a dose of my medication when we were done eating....read full review
