We sat on the pier, which was beautiful but we had to wait very long, almost 90 minutes for our appetizer and it eventually came out at the same time as dinner. The food was okay, typical beach fare.
First time at Oceanana Pier & Pier House Restaurant on 3 July 2026. Our GPS took us one street beyond and we had to turn around. Located at 700 E Fort Macon Road, Atlantic Beach, NC.
Parking was a bit of a bear. Well, it is Independence Day weekend. So we have to take that in mind. The place sets well off the road in the far end of a community parking lot of hotel, restaurant and trailer park.

Fried fish was really good (red drum), the fried shrimp were delicious, as were the burgers. Its a tiny place so expect it to fill up quick. Delicious food, and a pier to walk down before or after food.
