“Left White Lake to return home to Greensboro. I love mom and pop type shops and had wanted to try Big Daddy's. I went out of the way to try them on the way back to Greensboro, I am glad I did. When I arrived in Autryville, I was convinced that google gave me bad directions. Little store front in the middle of nowhere. Walked in and just loved the old store full of friendly people. They had good food and good prices. Fed 4 of us for about 25 bucks. The combination of a rural setting and good, friendly people, and a laid back environment makes this place somewhere I will visit anytime I visit white lake. Small family owned places like this with good food are hard to find, I will be back in the future and encourage others to travel to Autryville and enjoy the small town charm you will find here.”

“Good old-fashioned, handmade smash burgers! Throwback to the past, and I recommend going even if you have to drive a bit. You can call ahead, I’ll include pictures of the takeout menu. It’s best to have your mapping software lead you there, I included a picture of the convenience store, which can be your landmark to find it, as the restaurant is a storefront at the end. No profanity allowed and cash only. Very friendly people that will speak to you.”

“I came here for my 30th birthday and off the top the service was amazing our waitress was absolutely amazing super great attitude , really from the entire staff and super yummy food that was served hot, fresh and ina timely manner. they even took it upon themselves to bring me out a dessert on the house for my birthday and made the whole experience wonderful. I highly recommend”

“The food and service is wonderful, it just a good country home town restaurant. My deceased brother and I would always eat here when I came to visit from Texas. But being in the restaurant business for over 45 years it definitely a great place to eat. May you Rest In Peace Robert ( lefty ) Tew.”

“The best salsa. Very nice variety of food. Hard to choose which menu item to try first. It all looked so good. The steak was a little chewy but had good flavor. Still gave 5 star review because everthing else was very good. Waitress was freindly and place was very clean.”

“We went here with our family of seven. The food is always great. This is the first time that we took our two year old grandson. We were seated in the back room and our sever was Ro. I can't say enough about her. She was amazing, she took the time to make sure that everyone was taken care of and even played with our grandson when he was getting a little fussy. “Consistency is the key to being exceptional at anything…and these folks understood the assignment ?Been coming back for seconds and thirds… for 25 years and counting. No matter what side of the highway they set up shop I will keep coming back at every chance possible They have amazing food and such a huge selection you will definitely find something for everyone. I have been happily working my way around the entire menu, never eating the same thing twice. I can only make it there once a week, every time I go I eat it for 3 days straight and it never gets boring ???? ?????☕️??”

“Eat here often, a customer walked in, which I believe was an off duty employee started handling all the cups and rearranged them it appeared. Her hands were all over them no gloves. Very unsanitary and no one behind the counter said anything. Glad I bring my own water bottle.”

“The young girls that usually work the midafternoon shift during the week are a complete JOY. They are extremely friendly with the customers and always have a smile on their face. The store is always clean and well stocked. I probably eat here more than I should, but it's always a great experience which makes it tough to resist the urge.”

“The food was hot and delicious. I asked for extra ketchup for my big hit ham and cheese with fries. I pulled over to eat, and there was not any ketchup in the bag. I pull up to go inside to get some ketchup at 8 p.m., and the doors are locked. I had to get back in the drive-thru line behind the cars already there. I get up to the window, and she's says $28.44, and I tell her I did not get any ketchup. I finally, after 10 more minutes after getting my food, I finally git the ketchup I originally asked for.”
