“Left White Lake to return home to Greensboro. I love mom and pop type shops and had wanted to try Big Daddy's. I went out of the way to try them on the way back to Greensboro, I am glad I did. When I arrived in Autryville, I was convinced that google gave me bad directions. Little store front in the middle of nowhere. Walked in and just loved the old store full of friendly people. They had good food and good prices. Fed 4 of us for about 25 bucks. The combination of a rural setting and good, friendly people, and a laid back environment makes this place somewhere I will visit anytime I visit white lake. Small family owned places like this with good food are hard to find, I will be back in the future and encourage others to travel to Autryville and enjoy the small town charm you will find here.”

“It is just like it sounds a Corner Grill with a wonderful Carolina style cheeseburger, with mustard, chilli, and slaw. Two great ladies hand patting the burgers the old fashioned way! This a no frills eatery that takes only cash.. This is an Eastover staple!!”

“We order to-go and have never been disappointed. Fajitas are great, traditional guacamole is delicious, cheese dip is good, burritos are wonderful and the penne pasta with poblano cream sauce is my favorite! My only complaint is pricing. It costs a good 50$ for 2 people to eat here with ordering one entrée per person, one small cheese dip, and one pico de gallo. Manager is very friendly and competent. He’s always so helpful. I hope they start having tamales available again.”

The food at Melecios in Stedman is fantastic (fresh, flavorful, and great portions), but the service is the real star here. The team went above and beyond to make us feel taken care of. You can tell they take pride in what they do. They even remembered we had dogs and sent us home with pup-cups! No matter what side of the highway they set up shop I will keep coming back at every chance possible They have amazing food and such a huge selection you will definitely find something for everyone. I have been happily working my way around the entire menu, never eating the same thing twice. “Eat here often, a customer walked in, which I believe was an off duty employee started handling all the cups and rearranged them it appeared. Her hands were all over them no gloves. Very unsanitary and no one behind the counter said anything. Glad I bring my own water bottle.”

“The food was hot and delicious. I asked for extra ketchup for my big hit ham and cheese with fries. I pulled over to eat, and there was not any ketchup in the bag. I pull up to go inside to get some ketchup at 8 p.m., and the doors are locked. I had to get back in the drive-thru line behind the cars already there. I get up to the window, and she's says $28.44, and I tell her I did not get any ketchup. I finally, after 10 more minutes after getting my food, I finally git the ketchup I originally asked for.”
