Shirley's BBQ

My husband and I ate Shirley‘s BBQ located in the Beaufort Square,near Roses. What a wonderful, wonderful place to eat. The food was great and I highly recommend eating there.
I had the Texas Charlie fries- a huge plate of fries topped with pulled pork, barbecue sauce and queso cheese and jalapeño pepper sprinkled on top. Oh my goodness it was great! My husband had the fried pork chop, he said was very tender and good.
Service was friendly and fast.

Nothing i took home was good...
had to ziplock the food it to keep the smell from over powering the house.
Not eastern NC BQ..
Smithfields fried chicken, baked beans and Potato salad has this place beat by miles..
No flavor but SMOKE..
Left a terrible aftertaste .
Would never recommend to a friend .
Ofcourse...you have to try it and make up your own mine...just not for me and my wife.

I strongly recommend Shirley’s BBQ .
Excellent traditional food with amazing service. The home style cooking and Shirley’s delicious smoked meats are a perfect combination.
Laid back dining , owed and operated by locals and you can definitely feel the hospitality as soon as you walk in the restaurant.
Just can’t say enough how much we enjoyed ourselves and our meals.
They also have outdoor dining if you prefer or takeout.
