This is my better half’s favorite brewery in BM. we did a sampler and she discovered the imperial so she wanted a full pour of it. At 13 abv it earned that imperial rating- it was super smooth. Great beer tender guy:)
On a trip up from Charleston and we stumbled across this cute brewery. The patios and views are amazing very chill mountain vibes and cute restaurants across the street! The guy working is super nice, personable , and more than willing to let you sample/recommend options! Totally worth a visit if you’re in the area!
Great beers!
This place is cute but dang when it’s busy it takes forever to get drinks. So that’s why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. I think they need to figure out a way to crank out the line a little faster. Otherwise, it’s cute inside and out with some yummy drinks. I had the brass monkey and a cider. Both nice! Staff was friendly too.
Beer selection was fairly small, beer definitely needs to be a bit more on the cold side, merchandise selection was dismissal... Lack of and size selections were disappointing but I get it. I went so far as asking the employee if he could check stock and if I could possibly buy one of the shirts that were on display if it were the correct size because I really wanted to buy some merchandise from the spot. It was fairly neat, he totally ignored my request as to purchasing the display items and as I was leaving I asked if he checked on the merchandise upstairs. Upstairs he literally was gone for 20 seconds to check and came back down and said there wasn't anything. I kind of feel like he was lying as we were sitting upstairs so I know where the merchandise was located and there was no way he went upstairs and looked and came back down within that time frame. Super disappointed on my experience here. I most likely won't return nor will I suggest the spot two fellow travelers that enjoy breweries. Sorry guys, step up your customer service, the beer was tasty a bit on the warm side but the customer service experience is what was lacking for me 100%

Really nice guy and awesome atmosphere! Each brew we tried was good
Great little brew pub. The tender today really knows the beers and made suggestions — to me and the couple ordering a flight — on which beer to drink first, last, etc. made a big difference in my choice. Will be back
Food was delicious. Beer selection and service were okay. This brewery is not dog friendly.
Brews & brisket panini? Yes please.
I love the divine symmetry pilsner! Jamie and Lucy both deserve their own 5 star review!

Really cool place and vibe. The view on the back deck is very nice. I had the IPA and it was smooth and delicious. It was very easy to locate. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
This little taproom is very inviting. It doesn’t have a ton of seating and it gets busy. Go a little earlier in the afternoon or you might be out of luck. There’s public parking all over town but the town gets very busy during tourist seasons. The beer selections are interesting. Asheville says it’s the beer city, but not if you’re from the west coast where they brew a wider variety of beers with more pop and diversity; so this place was one of the better I found for higher octane beer. They have a food truck out back and the food was average. I had the shrimp po’ boy and my wife had the brisket sandwich. The bonus was the live music. Seth and Sarah were very talented.
I came here as part of a bachelor party for dinner and drinks while we waited for everyone to get into town. Look to start the beer is incredible and so cheap. Like you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu and if you don’t like it you’re only down a few bucks. Additionally, they have live music and the views of the mountains are so pretty. They also have tasty food available so there’s pretty much no reason not to go and have a great time while you’re in Black Mountain.
The Black Mountain brewing offers excellent beer options. If you are visiting for the first time, I suggest trying a flight with all the beer options. I have to say that my favorite is Unshakable Bond. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the service is very good and you can also taste the delicious food from the Smoked BLK food truck. It’s a perfect combination!
