One of my favorites in Black Mountain. Very friendly and welcoming vibe, serving up some seriously good Cuban grub. Fills up quickly, so come early if you're wanting to eat in.
It is an excellent undertaking with a lot of courage in the middle of a totally American region, you have to have courage for it. The place is clean, small and cozy. It has a rear sharing area that offers a little more space or perhaps privacy to a group that wants it. In order to continue being cozy, there is a small outdoor table for those who want to enjoy the warmth of spring. I was born and raised and Florida and moved to nc about 3 years ago. I'm half Cuban and i have been trying to find a Cuban place here that is close to what i grew up eating in Orlando and Miami. Look no further guys. This place is the real deal! Real Cuban owner. Authentic Cuban food and wonderful atmosphere. I absolutely LOVE it and it reminds me of the Cuban food i ate growing up. Please please give this place a try. 10/10 would always recommend
