We came in from out of town to relax and have a drink. I ordered coffee and my wife ordered a martini. We didn’t know that you weren’t able to have alcohol outside (although someone at another table had a martini as well). We had our dogs with us and we apologized profusely when the bar manager Victoria came outside and mentioned it. Only 1 person tending bar, so we waited about 15 minutes to put in our order. We got 2 expresso martinis. Everything was made fresh. We watched her brew the expresso to make our drinks. Definitely worth the wait!
Such a great spot to pop in and have a drink, and if McKayla is behind the bar, you can count on exceptional service. They’ve got great wines on tap - don’t miss half priced wine on Wednesdays

The Station offers a lively atmosphere and great entertainment, with musician Trevor engaging the crowd. The bar serves a nice beer, wine, and cocktail list, including delicious Espresso Martini and Aperol Spritz cocktails. Many have called the espresso martini the most delicious they've ever had. While the Old Fashioned may be too strong for some, the staff provides excellent drink service, even during busy times. Live music from local talents, including great 70s classics, adds to the fun. The spot is a cozy corner bar with a solid variety of drinks. Some service issues have been noted, but many find it a great place to relax and enjoy the music while sipping on well-crafted cocktails. The Station remains a fun spot to chill in downtown Black Mountain and is a go-to for locals and visitors alike.
