Good service and food. Ate outside on the patio. Fried goat cheese appetizer was delicious and plenty for 2 people.
Low mark for Ambiance primarily due to really high noise level. We will go back when we know there is no band playing and there might be less of a crowd. Salad, goat cheese fritters and short rib were all excellent. Crispy chicken was good.
Brunch menu was limited in my opinion. Lacked some creativity versus competitive options in the area. Hotel is beautiful. Staff were fine and super friendly but service seemed less polished than you'd expect for a venue like this.

Hearth @ Embers is an upscale restaurant in Blowing Rock with a varied menu. Guests enjoyed dishes like Burrata, shrimp tacos, and a delicious turkey meatloaf. The beef filet was tasty and tender, and the salmon was equally good. The roasted brussel sprout appetizer was flavorful. The restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere. The food was excellent, with trout dip for appetizer and halibut for entree being very good. Service was attentive and professional. Outside dining is recommended as it can be noisy inside.
