Nice outdoor seating, great service and vibe. Glad we stopped here for a quick drink and dinner. Porter hit the spot!

This brewery was the outstanding point of interest during our trip to Boone. We went twice! People make the place and we would like to send a big thank you to the owner Megan who took time not only to help us decide on some of South Ends great beers, but also directed us on what to hit up during our stay in the great town of Boone. The beers here were great. My lady like the hazy they had and I had a flight. Honestly try all the beers; they are superb. We cant wait to go back or purchase some cans when we see them in stores.Oh and the food was great also!

Very nice bar/restaurant. Everyone was friendly, and the service was top notch. My wife, who’s a great cook raved about the soup to the point where we offered to pay for the recipe. The chef came out and gave it to us! Thank you!

Drinks: 2.5/5Beers were okay and I paid $11 for 1/3rd glass full and watered down whiskey bourbon. I would absolutely come back for the food and the vibes, but not for their drinks. To be fair, I have been living here for a long time and I'm spoiled by AMB and Booneshine, so I'm a little biased. It might be a regional thing since the other location is based in the Piedmont.

First time in years the food was enough to fill me up. Dry rub wings of 1 lb of s one of the best values in town of Boone for price. Beers good as well as service. Becomimg my favorite place to chill.

We tried to go to Lost Province, but they were packed, so we ended up at SouthEnd where they had readily available tables. And boy, are we glad! They had friendly, attentive servers, good beer, and good food! They have high-top and low tables, and can get larger groups of 15+ based on a group that arrived ahead of us. They offer a really wide range of beers, including sours and bourbon barrel-aged stouts, with at least 15 beers on tap. They even offer flights! If you like a pumpkin ale, definitely try their harvest ale because it tasted like spiced bread in a glass. Their loaded fries were delicious, too. Would definitely visit again!

On a busy MLK weekend we had the pleasure of dining here twice. The first time, to our surprise, it wasn’t that crowded and we were sat immediately. The food was good! (Wings especially) and the drink was super good! The staff was helpful and happy to be there. The second time we went there it was surprisingly not busy again but we were told due to a staffing issue we might have to wait. We grabbed a drink and by the time I was 3 sips in they said a table was ready. They were upfront and said that due to a very busy weekend some of the items on the menu might not be available. However almost everything we ordered was available! Our waiter was kind and helpful and the food was yet again really good. Definitely come here and not to the other place up the street!!!! The wait staff are happy and it seems way more organized.

Mixed review. We sat in the bar area, so I don't have a review for the serving staff because if you sit at the bar, you must order everything at the bar. So not much table service. Food is great, staff is great. The manager needs to check his ego at the door, and realize that he is in a CUSTOMER-oriented environment.....not, "I'm going to do what I want to do environment." Very disappointed, and it will influence whether or not I continue to hold my business meetings there in the future. Just to be clear...this was the manager...not the owner. Thank you.Vegetarian options: Nice to see the options on the menu

Lively place, full of lights and their own canned beers. Many options for food and drinks. Servers all extremely kind and welcoming, very patient as well when we asked questions about the menu or anything else. Highly recommended if visiting.

We ate here for supper on a Saturday evening. Some of the best food and beer we’ve had in Boone. Had live music and great atmosphere. We will be back. Great service with no wait!

I enjoy the location and they have some super nice staff that are fun to talk to. But on two occasions now I have had a bad experience. First, the bartender bet my roommate and I’s IDs to the point that my roommates was permanently creased. They then proceed to pour the beer with tap submerged in the beer which is gross and spreads bacteria. Second, when they first opened they allowed dogs to come in to the bar while you grab a beer, which I thought was weird so I always made sure to ask and say “I understand if not I can leave her outside, no problem at all”. I asked in the same manner this night to not only one but two employees and both responded with a resounding “yes”, again asking to just grab a beer at the bar and go right outside. To reiterate I have no issue leaving my dog outside as this is the norm and checked by health inspectors, which is why I ask every time. While ordering my beer, the owner raised her voice saying, “ Sir, you cannot have your dog inside, where do you think you are?” I drank my beer (that again was poured with the tap in it) and left, have yet to be back after these two separate experiences. If I didn’t ask and didn’t get confirmation from two employees that my dog could come with me to order, then I would be the one in the wrong.
