Subway in Boone

“I ordered on my subway app like I always do and I only go to this location because it is the cleanest store in Boone and the best customer service. Somehow my app got changed to Wilkesboro location and I didn’t realize it so I went in to pick up my order and they said they didn’t have an order for me. The manager Hannah came and looked at my phone and she told me that my order went to the Wilkesboro location. I called the Wilkesboro store to cancel my order and they told me they couldn’t cancel my order. Hannah overheard me on the phone and came over and ask me if she could speak to the person I was talking to. I don’t know what she said but she gave me my phone back and said that they would be canceling the order shortly and I would be getting a refund in the next few days. If I didn’t to let her know and she would make sure I did. She told me to get in line and I could place my order again. While I was in line I got a message saying my order was canceled and I got a full refund. While I was in line I watched Hannah and her other employees and she took such great care of every single customer with great care. She was so sweet and kind to each person. She took the time to make sure they were getting first class service. Her employees were wonderful as well. They were very nice and friendly and helpful. They were all working as a team helping each other while making sure that the customers were getting what they wanted in a timely manner. They were talking with their customers and joking around with some of the customers. It was very busy while I was in there but they didn’t seem to get frustrated at all and handled everything very well.
I am so grateful to Hannah who helped me out with my situation. This happened on Friday, September 25, 2025 around 12.30pm. This team of employees need to be recognized for their awesome service and hard work. Hannah is a great manager who takes very good care of the customer because she genuinely cared about my situation and she got it fixed quickly.
Thanks for taking the time to help me out. I will always stay loyal to this store because of its customer service and it is always clean. If you ever see anything wrong or the bathroom needs attention you just let them know and they are on top of it.

“Very good place to eat if you want something different than the normal Burger. I wish this chain wood start stocking pastrami as one of the meats that you can choose from. And the particular girl that made my sandwich was really finicky with the toppings. She was a small petite girl. And I'm a heavyset fella. Lol. But even after I told her to put as much as you possibly could get by with, she still just barely put enough toppings on it to say she put toppings on it. These are the only reasons I did not give it 5 stars“

“I almost never leave reviews for places but I feel very bad for the woman working at subway today and wanted to give her some praise. It was pretty busy, she had a line of customers and several mobile orders and things were getting backed up. She was handling everything very well and kept a cheery disposition up to the customers. The issue was the man who was in training. She kept trying to show him how to make certain sandwiches and how to place the cheese and meats but he would just brush her off and say he’s got it. He acted as if he already knew how to do everything when he clearly didn’t. He made my friend and I sandwiches that were mostly fine but definitely not quite right and he forgot mine in the toaster a bit too long. He was also a little rude and off putting. I am generally a patient person and understand that first days are hard and there is a learning period. While I didn’t appreciate his attitude, I don’t necessarily want to get him in trouble since I don’t know if maybe he’s a good person having a bad day or if he was just frustrated. This post is mainly to say I think the woman there was being very patient and went above and beyond and I was impressed.“
