I visited here the first time in Aug. of 2023, as of writing this now in Feb. 2024 I believe this the best place to get high quality food and produce in the high country! Wonderful selection of food and goods that are improving as well! I recommend this place to anyone and everyone!!

Driving back/ to Banner Elk area, this was definitely worth a few mile detour to stop for somee grub. Everything fresh and a lot of local. The pumpkin soup was off the chain. thick with a little kick. Vegan options for my wife. And they also sell local items like bakery, bread, meats etc. Also, some old schoop video games and board games. Why would you eat lunch anywhere else?

It’s my favorite spot in downtown Boone to grab a quick bite. I’m not vegan or vegetarian but I absolutely could be with their menu. But they also have amazing non veggie options. Best BLT in town and probably the best chicken salad as well. Don’t get me started on the local beef chili ??. All this plus a welcoming and great vibe.

Got the Country Fried Tofu, purrty damn good. All the staff there were friendly and helpful as well, tons of vegan options.

Scrumptious. I tried the country fried tofu sandwich(its vegan hooray) and my mind was blown. Absolutely worth the money and it came with a great side of a bean, lentil, chickpea salad. I also love that this place is a little market with lots of vegan products. I will be back again.

Vegan heaven. Just wanted to get bean salad to tide me over for dinner. It was so flavorful that I went back for potato salad. Everything made fresh each day and you can taste the quality of ingredients. Can't wait to come back for sandwiches!!
