Don’t find many places like this anymore. Great food and even more the friendly staff! Nice meeting you Mr Mike!
Worst breakfast experience of my life!!! Took an hour and a half to get our food! We also saw a mouse run across the dining room floor. When we told our server about this she said “it comes with the territory” WTH?!
The staff is very efficient and so friendly! Don't think of another restaurant while in town, just go to this diner
awesome breakfast and the staff are wonderful. very friendly!
We have eaten breakfast here twice in just a few days and both experiences were great. The staff is very friendly and they provide wonderful service.
Such a great diner! Our table has a mix of orders. I can't say it any louder, but, THE BISCUITS AND GRAVY ARE AWESOME!! We ordered the chicken biscuit which come open faced with 2 chicken strips that were perfectly fried. The grits were creamy and buttery. The other orders at the table were the porkchop breakfast amd the country fries steak. The staff super friendly and engaging. Coffee cups amd tea glasses stayed full. We lucked out finding Everett St. Diner as we are are staying in Topton, NC which doesn't have anything to offer for dining. If we are ever back in NC we would certainly plan a meal here.
Homey local place serving hearty breakfast classics. We were greeted immediately by a friendly man (probably the owner) and luckily we're able to have a table ready. The menu had big breakfast plates such as The mountain man which included 2 large pancakes, 3 eggs, hashbrowns, and biscuits and gravy. A variety of omelets-the western was so good and very big. The grits were just as creamy as advertised. The waffle was golden with crispy outside and soft fluffy inside just as you would want it. Plates were cleaned and tummies were full. The owner sat with various groups and chatted up regulars and new patrons alike. Go early to avoid a wait, but it would definitely worth the wait. Looking forward to eating here again.
Cannot recommend this place more. The most friendly staff & delicious food. A must try!
This diner has the best service I've seen in years, the staff were polite, friendly and fast. The food was delicious, composed of all the classic diner staples you really can't go wrong with this diner.
Great place for breakfast. Excellent biscuits and gravy, and I really liked the mountain fried steak, it was tender and a very generous portion. Grandkids enjoyed fluffy pancakes and French toast. Mike is a great host and loves to interact with the kids. Gabi said thanks for posting her flower dragon on your Facebook page. We will be back!

FANTASTIC place for breakfast!! The food was great and the wait staff were extremely friendly!! Highly, highly recommend!!
breakfast at Everett Street Diner was the highlight of our day at Bryson City. Delicious food, large portions, but the real winner was the service. between wait staff and the owner's friendly interactions with each family, the atmosphere was welcoming and warm. definitely somewhere we want to visit again!
We ate there May 14 2025 and they still charged extra for eggs. Mind you they are a breakfast restaurant and up charge for eggs!! Egg prices came down a while ago. I have never seen so many up charges on a menu! Pretty soon they will start charging for the menu itself! Breakfast was fine not special, not great, not bad. I’d recommend somewhere else where they don’t rip customers off by fake egg surcharge and addl charges for many many items
It’s all good👏🏼♥️love this place. We came from an hour away just for this🌹
Hit Everette Street today, with a party of 22 in total. Fantastic staff, great service and great food. Very accommodating to our group as we headed home to Florida. 100% would recommend and I will definately be eating here again the next time I am in the area
